The man turned to Praca then grinned. "General! God to see you!" He said as he pushed the woman off himself, unceremoniously. He got up and saluted.
Aulus wakes some time later, sandwiched between Agorix and Aphrodite, to the feeling of Barbarous' sandal. "Sir? You wanted to be awoken for the watch?"
Pesca returns the salute. "Likewise. I see you've made use of my gift." He gestures to Flavia. "Sadly, there's not much time for play. I need you and your men."
Aulus tried to get up without waking the two women, before he addressed Barbarous, 'Uwa~, yes, thanks.' He looked around for where Ouei was, 'I hope you and the others enjoyed your time with Ouei. Everything else quiet, I assume?'
Looking out, he sees Ouei lying in one of the soldier's sleeping rolls, the 'generous' man lying on the cold earth nearby, along with several other spent Romans. Barbarous chuckles. "You could say that. You certainly missed out." Agorix stirs as Aulus gets up, but doesn't awaken. "So far, there've been no problems."
'Get some rest, we may need it soon,' Aulus told Barbarous. Aulus then went to the perimeter and took watch.
The man nodded energetically. "Of course, general. Just tell us where to go, and we shall follow you!" The man smiled.
Standing guard out between the trees, Aulus finds himself bored for about half an hour, before he hears a twig snap in the darkness.
He nods and exits, heading to follow his orders. The young female acolyte, however, remains. "Err, my lady..." She tries to figure out how to make her request. "Since the high priestess has left, I've been in charge of the temple, but there's nothing official to state that that's my role. I was wondering if, you know, you could announce that I'm the new high priestess?"
Aulus tried to alert his soldiers, making a ruckus to rouse them, 'Alarm! Get up! We got company!' He rushed towards the sound, trying to see who had snuck up on them and stop them.
The soldiers hurriedly begin to wake and get up, and Aulus sees a figure rushing towards him. He can't make out any details in the darkness, only the glint of a blade in the moonlight as it swipes upwards towards his throat.
Anai leaned back and put her chin against her arm. "Oh? And why should it be you, who will hold the title of High Priestess?" She asked, clearly interested in what the woman would give as an answer.
"Very well general." The man said as he put his clothes in order. "What are our instruction, general?" Maat asked, as she pointed at Flavia.
"Well, I don't suppose it has to be me, I just figured that it should, since people at the temple are doing what I say." She shrugs. "I haven't been declared heir, or anything, we don't have that sort of thing, so I can't complain if you say it shouldn't be me. I just figured that since I'm already basically acting as high priestess, it could be made official."
"Take Flavia out ahead of our men. I want her loudly proclaiming that I've been resurrected and blessed by the gods." He chuckles. "The men won't believe her, but when they see me, it should create doubt that could prevent them from turning against me."
