Hello all. I am thinking of doing a quest-based Crusader Kings game, set in a hentai fantasy world. To make it simpler, a quest following ruler/dynasty set in a fantasy world where sex is more open, most of the people are good looking and there are more female than males… I am checking an interest on the forum – if it will be small, I shall post (when ready) on the main site.
Not really. All things will be described, and the mechanics... well, it won't be that different from any other Quest. I just borrowed some descriptions from the game and setting - then heavily modified them.
That's a one then I will post the first chapter later, to give a feeling of what it's about. Edit: That's a two.
Okay, I am open to sugesstions. The first chapter (character creation) would look like something like this: * * * Two hundred years ago, the Horstrie Valley was a place of a massive battle. The amazon tribes were united by the High Queen Sal and raided Banate Kingdom for ten years, until finally, the Bloody Queen Revaice had enough. She had gathered her army and arrived at Horstrie Valley, challenging the amazon tribes to battle. The war took three years and climaxed in the battle of Sal’s bane. The Queen defeated and broken the amazon army, capturing majority of warrior women. She had the chieftains executed and the Amazon Queen raped in front of her army before she decapitated the Amazon Queen herself. The captured women were either enslaved or executed. The Horstrie Valley was incorporated into the Kingdom, as County. Many loyal soldiers were given lands and bestowed noble titles in those lands. One of those was the Ruth family. Lady Ruth rules her lands – three villages and a small mansion. 24 years ago, she gave birth to her [A1]5th [A2]6th [A3]9th child, a [B1]son [B2]daughter With her many siblings, she had little chance to stand on the top of the family. After the death of her mother, the lands would be divided among the siblings… and she would not inherit any of them. She became known for her [C1]gregarious character. She was really nice to talk to, and she easily made connections with others. Also considered by some a real chatterbox [C2]generous character. She was known to and became liked for her generosity, to her guests and her friends. [C3]zealous character. She was known for her devotion to religion and intolerance to what she perceived a heresy. [C4]trusting character. She was known to trust others – that made others trust her back. [C5]ambitious character. She was known for her unquenchable ambitions. But with that positive trait, she also had two major negative traits. She was (choose two) [D1]sadistic. She spent some time in the dungeons, making sure that the prisoners regretted their crimes. Sometimes, it was her servants... [D2]craven. She was a coward, escaping from a fight if she had no clear advantage or knew she would win. She would easily bend in front of a more powerful character. [D3]vengeful. She believed in an eye for an eye, life for life philosophy. She usually added interest. [D4]arrogant. She believed in her own superiority and inferiority of others – especially peasants. [D5]deceitful. She discovered that lies and deceptions were something that came easy to her. Of course, few knew the full scope of her character. Physically, there was one trait, that set her apart from common rabble. She was [E1]a dwarf, while still proportional like a normal person, she was of the height of 1.3 meter and was sometimes mistaken for a half-ling. [E2]giant. She was 2.2 meter’s tall, standing above all. [E3]scaly. Her skin was covered with lizard-like scales – an unattractive feature, that made many fear her. [E4]feeble. She would easily get tired and had to rest often. [E5]strong. There were few who could match her might. [E6]beautiful. Most people were good looking, she was beautiful… desirable. That thing gave birth to rumours, she was a fruit of her mother’s indiscretion. Through her times, as a youngster and young adult, she made few questionable choices in her life. She has dark secrets (choose two) [F1]Incestuous – she had a sexual relationship with a family member [F2]murderer – she killed someone, unlawfully. [F3]cultist – she was a member of a demon-worshipping group. [F4]kin-slayer – she killed a member of her family. [F5]fornicator – she slept with a married woman. [F6]drug addict – she is dependent on a supply of drugs. When she reached adulthood, she finally finished her education [G1]diplomacy – she showed skill in the art of diplomacy [G2]stewardship – she became skilled in management and money-making [G3]strategy – she showed skill in battle tactics and war strategies [G4]martial skills – she became skilled in personal combat [G5]intrigue – she had her way with gaining information and underworld [G6]learning – she was a knowledgeable person, who knew about many things... To the west of the Horstrie Valley, the unstable Banate Kingdom was slowly crumbling due to infighting. From the great forests in the east, the wood elves and amazon tribes continued raiding the lands. On the north, the mountains inhabited by the vile orcs and matriarchal dark elves, were in a state of war, occasionally raiding the Horstrie lands. In the south, the patriarchal desert kingdoms were constantly fighting with far away republics... The county of Horstrie also faces inner turmoil, as the Countess losses her grip on the lands... while the lords and ladies are slowly starting infighting, trying to carve out their own domains.
That looks pretty good. Though I would change this: [C3]zealous character. She was known for her devotion to religion and intolerance to what she perceived a heresy. to something like this: [C3]religious character. She was known for her devotion to religion and support of the faithful. Basically, leave only the positive part. The nagive part can be moved to the next choice, for example: [D6]zealous. She was known for her intolerance to what she perceived as heresy.
You are right about changing it into looking more positive. But here's a catch - each positive trait can actually become negative, depending on the situation. Trusting? There would be someone who would try to exploit the MC. Gregarious? Some would perceive MC as dumb blond chatterbox. Generous? Some would come frequently and make MC soo much poorer. That's why the positive traits and negative ones do not double. I think I will be posting the story on the main page, and leave a discussion thread on the forum...

Similar, yeah. The new story won't be fantasy. I'll also have a lot less control over which direction the story goes as I'll be trying to adapt the game into a story. I thought it'd be an interesting writing challenge above anything else. Also it probably won't be as popular as A Fantasy Dynasty. That was really me catching lightning in a jar.

Her as a student of Palpatine right after the fall of the Republic? Make her an evil clone sister of Amidala? Maybe she was a student of Darth Palagius, Palpatine's master? Eh, maybe some other time...
