Just a question: I know that the front page says that there's a required limit of 10 chapters, but would a 7 chapter story be alright? It's around 7300 words if what Google Docs is to be believed. That and it's somewhat of an experimental non-erotica story.
I think low chapter count is fine. However, I did one myself with similar numbers and it didn't do too well in comparison to some other stuff that I've put out. I think the reason was that it didn't get enough exposure due to the number of new drops. As a result number of views was low which feels like a shame if you've put the effort in.
That is a tricky question. I did feature stories below the 10 chapter requirement before. Hell "Omniworld" was basically just one chapter. But I also don't want to compromise on the 10 chapter rule too much, with the backlog as long as it is. I'd say if the story is finished I can slot you in. Segment might be shorter then usual tough, depending on how much material there is.
I suppose that's fair enough, I also believe in artistic freedom so I'd rather not force anyone to write a 5000 word essay about, say, potatoes, so I'm ok with a short segment. But here you go: Bad Ends - An Untitled Horror Story. Have fun belittling it when you get the chance.
Got an observation of my own that I'll pass on if thats ok- (as I already mentioned, I'm a fan of the work), ... "Dogs and sleds? Who knows just how far the North Pole truly is, as it could possibly take days or weeks until we would see it and we might possibly be the sled dogs by the time we're at our return journey if we're lucky." Every naval officer of any nation at that point would be able to pinpoint with very precise accuracy by means of compass and artificial horizon exactly how far north they were, and would know how far the pole was to within a mile (and if they had a watch too, exactly how far east or west they were). And the most successful voyages, were dog and sled. On foot they would have had the difficulty of pack drift to cover though, meaning that the ice cap isnt fixed to anything and moves, so if they walked say 20 miles in a day, the pack could actually move 20 miles in the other direction, leaving them exactly where they started. (or they could get lucky and cover 40 miles for walking 20 if it moved in the other direction) Unexplainable should maybe be inexplicable. I've got a fair idea of the answer, but going to ask the question anyway - its an excellent work, but why not post it on a non-erotic site?

It turned out that I copied the Gamer too much when writing that story. I thought I was being original but I fucked up really badly. I really thought I had changed it enough but a lot of people have noticed a lot of similarities. I tried fixing them but there's just too many so I decided to delete it all.
