Even as Gregoire celebrates his victory, he knows that something's horribly wrong. As Emel collapses from the massive amount of pleasure, the glow from the statues grows brighter, and the crusader feels his body begin to tingle and shift.
Looking at the time, Katherine sees that she has plenty to go to the office like she thought about earlier. Alternatively, she could just wait for the meeting.
Natasha shrug her shoulders looking with sorry on her broken rifle. It is behind repair, complety trash. She sigh, leaves broken weapon and creature behind and enter chamber, commanding Sonya to watch the doors. "All right, let looking for the clues." She said to hersellf looking at pictures on the walls, maybe she will find something interesting.
Spoiler: Speech Check D100: 100+20 (Charm)=120 (Crit) Kelly hears Ben stiffen when she mentions going down alone, but Michael just smiles, delighted. "You know, that sounds more than reasonable. In fact, since you're so willing to work with us, I won't ask anything in trade. If you figure something else while you're down there, It'd be nice if you shared it with us, though." He chuckles. "Shall we?" He holds out his arm.
Looking at the pillars, she spots four of them, each decorated with a different sigil. One is of a man holding a spear and shield - an obvious warrior. Another is of a man with an abacus and scale set. The next depicts a beautiful young woman in a flowing dress, and the one after that displays a woman holding a staff and with a snake wrapped about her shoulders. In front of each of the pillars is a raised plate, not unlike the ones that activated the dart traps earlier, though these ones are too obvious to be traps, something Sonya tests by pressing one with a stick - nothing happens.
Weighing the options, she figured the office world probably had things handled. Missing a day might help give the impression she didn't take her job seriously, as an added bonus. Besides...she was far more focused on this apparent adventure on the horizon to focus on much else.
“In that case let's hurry up and get out of here, before the beast manages to find us, or anything else unexpected happens. We've likely learned all we could, anyway.” Miriam decided and headed back to the entrance of the ruins. A she walked she tried to stay alert for any potential danger, whether from the ruins, or from her companion.
Kelly positively beamed at the man and how agreeable he seemed to be; whatever concerns she may have had when they arrived were clearly unwarranted. "Of course Mr. Scaletta, it's your dig site after all." She said agreeing to his request. She hooked her arm in his happily, "Absolutely. I can't wait to get started." As she past Ben and Bast she gave her former student a placating smile meant to convey to him that everything was fine.
Natasha seen something like that before in some movie about treasure, so answer was clear for her. She stand before pillar with warrior and tell rest of group to take one pillar each. On her comand, they all press plates in the same moment.
Whiling away the hours, Katherine keeps herself busy through training or some light exercise, when she hears a tap at the window beside her. Then, another. Looking outside, she sees a man perched on the railing, and narrowing her eyes, she sees that it's Vladimir, the man she's scheduled to meet in an hour. The blonde gangster flashes her a charming smile, saying in a light accent "You mind helping me with the window? I can't open it from this side, and I'm pretty sure I'm about to fall."
"Then TAKE MY SEED, SLUT!" Unable to control himself anymore, Dylan all but roars his command as he hilts himself inside the heiress, his cock throbbing and twitching as he begins to fill her with his potent cum.
Spoiler: Threat Roll D100: 17 Luckily, though she hears a rumbling from below, Miriam is out before too long, blinking in pain as her eyes adjust to the sunlight once more.
Miriam needed a few moments to get used to the light. Once her eyes had adjusted she took a quick look around to make sure they were alone and there were no threats waiting for them outside, then checked to see how companion was doing.
Michael grins, walking arm in arm with Kelly to the excavation site. "The men have been here for a while, it'll be good for morale for them to see a beautiful woman anyway." He chuckles jokingly. "I know it's good for mine." They head down into the tunnel dug into the Earth, with every few metres illuminated by an overhanging globe light. "We've been here for months." Michael sighs. "We brought in an 'expert' on the subject, but he's proving useless. Maybe it's time to get rid of him, I dunno. Anyway, tell me more about why you're here - you mentioned a husband?" Heading through a passage, they enter the ruins proper. Though they're, well, ruined, Kelly knows this place would have been stunning in its prime.
Urgh, god damn it. Mori thinks to himself, smiling as the lieutenant wraps his arm around him. "Oh? That's an interesting prospect." He chuckled, smiling, "As for the mission, sadly all I could find was some journals in the blonds language. Any of you know how to read swedish?" He asked with a calm smile of his own.
(Sorry. Really distracted with a lot of things. Not really at my best work lately. Mostly focusing on moving.) A little surprised at his entrance, and a little bit impressed that he didn't like to use the front door either, it just seemed that she was better at it then she was. "It takes practice." Offering her hand, she pulled to bring him into the room.
Spoiler: History Roll D100: 60 Mercifully, figuring out who should go where isn't that hard. The only problem is the snakes, but luckily Sonya remembers that snakes were associated with medecine in ancient times, and takes that plinth. The rumbling grows louder, as the spherical ceiling begins to rotate, revealing a cavity in the wall, a hidden room. It's too high to get to from where she is, though. A clanking reveals something else, two huge spin weels have emerged from the wall, each twice the size of Natasha.
Looking around, she sees not much more than the ocean beyond the cliff, and the jeep that brought them here. In the distance there's a farmer with some sheep, but they keep well away from the ruins. "Yes! Finally, I'm free! How do you like that, mother?" Taia cheers and hoots as she tastes fresh air.
Spoiler: Manipulation Check D100: The lieutenant grunts. "We'll find someone who can. Give me the journals." He orders.
