Talia paused - then looked from her datapad. "She would be quite a good target... but I am here only to advise you. The final decision belongs to you." She said.
Jacob's quiet for several moments, as he thinks to himself. She's likely involved in crime, like her husband. "F-Fine. How would we go about it?"
Talia nodded. "There are a couple of ways we could go about it." She said as she started thinking. "First, we should discover her deviant practices. Pics with her having sex... would probably be not enough. Rather, something more... spicey. Scandalic. Two - it should go hand in hand with illegal activities. Something heavy - slave trade... that would be hard. Drug trade, maybe assassination or abduction..." She thought aloud. "Sex scandal and a crime - that should be our base. Maybe something involving her daughter as well - her husband could probably support us in this endeavour." She paused, and turned to Jacob. "Do you have any ideas?" She asked curiously.
"I-uh..." He shakes his head. "No. What if she's innocent? What if she doesn't want to have sex on camera? You're meant to be the expert, here."
"Of course she wouldn't want to have sex on camera- that's why she won't even know she will be having sex on camera." Talia answered as if it was obvious. "Innocent?" She cocked her head. "If she is innocent - then what?" She asked. "Will that stop you from fixing the current predicament?" She asked curiously.
"I...I think so, yeah." He sighs. "I know that I have to cut corners in politics, but if that means harming an innocent person who's done me no wrong? No, I can't do that."
To Jacob's surprised Talia laughed out heartly. "Bwhahahahaha!" She held her stomach - she laughed so hard her eyes teared up. "Hahaha-eh~" She sighted when she finally calmed down. "Hehe, Innocent politician, hehe." She covered her mouth, visibly holding her laugh back. She stayed that way for a moment, then swallowed and looked at Jacob - visibly trying to still hold her good humour. "Innocent can be hardly found anywhere... and innocent politician - heh." She looked to the side and waved her hand. "Sorry, sorry. It's just - so- hehe." After a moment she looked back at Jacob. "Okay then. So - what now, boss?" She asked, joy dancing in her eyes.
Jacob scratches his head, taken off guard by the woman's enthusiasm. "Err, I was thinking of getting Lady Fairfax on board. She's popular, even if her husband isn't, so if we make it look like he's moved directly against her, the scandal could be enough. If he hurts some random nobody, people won't care, but if he hurts the most famous socialite in town, it's all people will be talking about."
Talia smirked, and slowly nodded her head. "Go on~" She said with a playful voice. "That can be basis of a plan, but in itself, it's far to little to pull away the attention from your actions of starting a riot that resulted in-" She looked at the datapad. "Huh. 48 people wounded and 2 dead. It looks like situation is stabilising." She looked back at Jacob. "You need much more to outshine that~"
"Then maybe... Maybe if some other senators were implicated in Fairfax's plot... Specifically senators from the parties supporting the rioters." He thinks. "Maybe... Maybe if Lady Fairfax was to 'persuade' some of those senators to support her or her husband in whatever legislation. And for the footage of the lady's 'persuasion' to be released, only instead of 'persuasion', the footage was altered to look like a violent gang rape?"
Talia cocked her head. "Hmm~ pulling senators supporting rioters into it might just turn the attention of public back at this mess~" She waved at the screen showing the riots. "But the idea has its merrits... if it wasn't soo absurd and difficult to do. Well, at least what you presented was slightly difficult to comprehend and do..." She smirked as she leaned back on chair. "First you don't want to implicate Lady Fairfax, then you want to release a material that will destroy her dignity and possibly her reputation... You sure are jumping over your possibilities~"
"Scheming? I am just curious how are you going to 'arrange' or 'convince' lady Fairfax to allow something like that to happen? What would be her gain in it?" Talia smiled. "How would we make it happen aside, a gang-rape of a known senator by her colleuoges... it's a good basis. It would certainly raise an outcry and turn away some of the attention - but it still lacks that something, that would change a punch, into a knockout." She paused. "Of course, we could arrange it to look like she was raped by her couleges - by using a doubles. But it's a damm lot of work and would be quite easy to mess up. Tming would be crucial." She nodded her head. "Any other idea? Or suggestions?"
"I see well the Daughters of Illium have a history of small actions and we dont know if this kidnapping was a fluke or something more so its more like a wager if the keep going in that path or not ,The Crimson Shift just no i have enough politics in my life without getting involved in their group politics and race for leadership The Ethereal Reformation well they have some longevity and showed that they are not all talk so i guess that is our client then "Blake says before looking at both Symania and Chalotte "Any objections ?"
Symania nodded, while Charlotte started working on something on her datapad. "That is probably the best we can go with," She said after a moment. "The way I see it, we have a couple of possibilities we could go with. First - we could just sell weapons to the rebels. Keep it strictly buisness. Second - we could get something else instead of cash. The state is rich with ores - we could take those ores in payment and resell them with profit. Third - we could make a long term investment and start a full blown cooperation with the rebels. In return they would not only pay, but when they won the civil war, we could retain the influence over the country and it's economy. There would be much risk with this, but also, much to gain." She paused. "Alternatively... we could sell them weapons and gather information on them, or sell them weapons with trackers. Then sell the information to the ruling government. That way, we could also gain power, cash and influence." She looked at Blake, wondering which strategy he would go with.
Blake ponders before answering "I guess the first or second option then i am not ready yet for long term investment maybe in the future when we have more funds but not today .The question is how much more profitable is the second option over the first ?"Says Blake while staring at Symania
Charlotte showed Blake a datapad with calculations. "After removing all costs, we could get about five times the normal gain. Considering the rebels might have problems with cash flow, it could be even better option." She said. "That's why a long term investment might be quite lucrative... with either side."
"Then the second option unless "He looks over at Symania and Charlotte" How confident are the two of you in the third option give me your opinion on it after all if we get caught we might fall together on this "Blake says
Charlotte hummed. "The risk might be worth it... we certainly would see a short time gain. Maybe even we could control the rebel state after they won." She paused. "And if we saw the things started go south, we could simply sell off the rebels and say that we intended to do it all along." "Most we rist, is alienating the Naedour Dynasty... depending on our actions, they might even set a bounty on you..." Symania finished.
"I see then we go with option third i am wiling to risk a bounty from them and who knows what this will be the start of"Says Blake smiling at them
