"I'm such a selfish asshole..." Jacob mutters softly to himself as he awakens, before kissing his sleeping lover. If she doesn't wake, he goes to make some coffee for her, placing it beside the bed while she sleeps.

Finally, after checking for messages from Diana, he does his morning exercises, and wakes Chloe. "Hey."

As he put the the coffee down, on the table, Chloe slowly opened her eyes. Seeing Jacob, a small smile slowly spread on her lips.

"Hey." She greeted him sleepy.

"It was... an enjoyable distratcion." She said as she leaned into the kiss.

She sat up and started slowly seeping coffee. It seemed she enjoyed his company.

As they sat, Jacob's communicator beeped.

Jacob uses the tender moment to make some pleasant small talk, before groaning and standing to grab his communicator. "Sorry, I have to take this - could be important." He presses the button on the communicator. "Hello?"

As he picked up the communicator, he noticed it was a text message from Talia. It was short and informed him that there was an arrest warrant placed on the redhead sitting on his bed. He did not know if Talia was simply informing him, or she knew that Chloe was in his apartment...

"Dammit!" Chloe cursed as she quickly made her way to her clothes and started putting them on. The cup of coffee she was drinking from, landed on the floor. "Do they know where I am?" She asked loudly.

Just as he finished speaking, there was a knock on a door, making both of their heads snap in the direction.

As the elven maid entered, her eyes fallen on the mostly naked redhead for a moment. She gave no indication of even acknowledging the woman, instead she looked at the Jacob.

"The police has arrived into the complex." She said quietly, so that Chloe couldn't hear her.

"What?" Jacob narrows his eyes. Chloe getting a warrant for her arrest could be bad luck - but this? This is treachery. Someone ratted us out. Did they follow Chloe? Or was someone watching my building? "We have to get her out of here, then." He replies. "Discreetly. Get her on a smuggling vessel - and far away from Sanctum Mesa. I have arranged somewhere for her to go, already."

"They were following her - the warrant was released yesterday, but only came into life as if today, from hour ago." As if reading his mind, Alessa said. "If we put her on the shuttle or into the car - her departure shall be noticed." She said.

"That is-" Alessa started, then her head moved to the side. Jacob realised she was looking at the elevator. "Think fast." She said quietly as she started making her way to the elevator and closed the door.

Jacob waited. The time passed slowly, lengthen - when in reality only minutes passed. Finally, there was a knock to the door.
