Mulan rise eyebrown. So this cultivator is not only powerful in his Qi, but also know how to hide his presence? But it didn't stop Mulan from looking for clues. As far as explosion happen, they didn't hit twice in the same spot. So there is a chance that she will find something in ty crater of the last one, closer to her. She go in that way.

“I think we should just move on, perhaps. That house isn’t going to cause anyone active harm, if it’s isolated. Surely, there’s bigger and better things to get to doing.”

As Mulan made it to the crater, she needed to wait a moment, for the dust to be blown.

Finally, she got a better look... and the crater was deep! It was almost twenty meters down!

And she noticed that there was something on the bottom.

Mulan look around if no one is in the area and slowly get down to crater, to see what is down here. Some magic bolt or other kind of weapon? Or simple talisman?

“There’d be no point. If it’s dangerous for people to go near? Build a fence. It’s not actively doing anyone harm unless they’re going out of their way to disturb spirits where they reside. I see no reason to put yourselves and myself at risk for the sake of resale value. We’ll gain nothing by wasting even more time here.”

“There will always be another problem. The difference is, I was happy to help Fu because she was someone in need who needed specific skills to resolve her issue. Clearing real estate is simply because they aren’t willing to endanger themselves.”

“A city would he useful. Plenty of things to do, and more people. Seeing other villages is good to get to eventually, but the city is likely the best option to finding a proper place to establish ourselves.”
