Spoiler: Awareness 3 great fail As she looked around, she did not notice anything that would be of use to her... the body was too destroyed, the charm was gone... there was nothing- Suddenly, a necklace caught her attention. It was made of iron, with a particular symbol on it... it looked somewhat out of place in here...

Make her face the reality of her deeds, it's possible she will end her life." He hummed as he leaned back. He seemed tired. "Third option..." He started, then hesitated.
It was unusual. And probably a clue. Most likely tied with some kind of dark magic, so she’d have to be careful as she picked it up. “I think this is the most we’ll get out of this. This did turn out to be worth the trip. Had it revived, it would have been a problem.” Explaining her thoughts to Lin, she gazed at the necklace. “I’ve never seen this symbol before. Some kind of ancient god? A cult? It would be helpful to know if the person was dependent or independent. Maybe this will jog Fu’s memory of who gave her the talisman.” Vocalizing her thoughts, Torri reasoned the only thing to do was head back for now and see what progress they made on getting funds.
"Of your girls - but not you?" He chuckles. "See you." He kisses her, and heads out. Yawning, Hayami slumps into a chair next to his companions. "Well..." He orders some food. "We have a 10% stake in a brothel now, and I have a lead on the town's black market."
"Huh?" Luo Fei gasped as she noticed that with every strike, her body was covered in shadows. "An enchanted weapon? Or... a cursed one?" She thought to herself, unaware of what the shadows effects are. "Right... I guess there's only one way to find out." She takes a deep breath, doing a bit more practice swings. Aiming to find out if the shadows are beneficial, or a detriment.
Spoiler: Awareness 30 - fail Mulan quickly hid behind one of the trees. She could feel the heat of battle, from where she was... but she could barely see anything. And at the times she saw something, it was just too fast for her to understand what she was seeing.
"Damit, that speed is too high for my eye." She said to hersellf as she couldn't see anything useful for her. Maybe she has to just waiting for end of fight... But then what? Let the winner take her as trophy? No way! Mulan take a map and tried to understand what was writen on it, from time to time checking the battle, just to be sure it didn't come too close to her.
As Tori returned, Fu Dai seemed to have already returned. Her things were packed up... It seemed that Torri's party was ready to leave, when she choose to.
Ye Chao thought for a moment. "I could... hypnotize her. Rewrite some of her personality... It would be a rather long process, but that would be a... solution." He offered.
At the sudden news, the duo stopped eating and stared open-mouthed at Hayami. "W-what?" Lian Cai managed as she looked at him. "You sure are working hard, elder brother." Geng Xinya chuckled.
Spoiler: intelligence 15 +10 (artefacts) - fail Tried as she might, Luo Fei failed to come to any conclusion... The night started getting late... and it seemed she wouldn't be able to figure out anything else this nigh...
"Odd... what's the purpose of these shadows then?" Luo Fei was at a loss, still unsure if the weapon was cursed, or enchanted. "Zhu Hua was... acquainted with the former owner... maybe she knows?" She said to herself, as she returns to their camp. Luo Fei decides to ask her companion about it first thing in the morning, as she gets some rest.
With mostly everything under way, Tori thought she should simply address the question early on. Taking a few minutes, she brought everyone up to speed, and then showed the neklace to Fu. "I found this on my little excursion. Does it look familiar to you? It clearly, has some kind of dark magic, so I wouldn't recommend wearing it, but it made me question if it may be connected to your case."
"I can be very persuasive." He chuckles at Geng and flashes Lian Cai a smirk. "Since there's not much else to do, I say we check out the black market. Any news on survivors from the sect?"
Spoiler: intelligence 17 - fail As Mulan tried again, to make heads and tails from the map, she failed again... and it seemed that the battle was slowly ending.
The night seemed to be quite calm, so Luo Fei slept peacefully. Once they woke up and ate breakfast, the duo made their way out, passing the room where majority of the bodies were lying. Soon, they were out, traveling to their destination.
Mulan know very well who ever win this fight, will chase after her. She decided to hide map and brancle in the tree and change position, remeber where she hide them. Ewen if this cultivator made her strip search, she won't lose these items. Mulan tried to see who win this fight.
As Fu Dai looked at the necklace, her face turned thoughtful. "Yeah... a pedler was here a few months ago and sold those en masse." She said, then palled a little. She left, then returned a moment later, holding in her a necklace looking exactly the same like the one Torri was holding.
Once they were out, Luo Fei asks Zhu Hua. "Excuse me, I don't suppose you know of this weapon's special properties, would you?" She asked as they walked side by side.
