Slicing through the pirates, Eve checks their equipment for anything worthwhile. After all, if she's to board another ship, she needed all the preparations she could get. "Is that so?" She replied, ignoring Ohnaka's compliments. "Wonderful. If this was your advance team, then the rest must be as unskilled, if not more." She replied, as she looks at the mercs. "Are you two ready? We'll board them in return. If you survive, I'll let you keep whatever loot you can find in that ship when I set you free." She said hoping to keep their morale high despite the fact that they might be running a suicide mission.
"Oh, right!" Vetrik runs back, grabbing the rifle. "Could I get some of that kolto, too?" Heart groans and gestures to her neck. Soon, they arrive at the freighter.
Sadly, she doesn't find anything of value beyond the pirate's weapons. The two mercs gulp, but not. "Why be so unreasonable?" Ohnaka sighs. "Why not discuss this over some glitterstim and wine? I promise not to take too much of your belongings."
"I'll lead the charge." Eve nods, as she thinks of a plan. "Don't worry, I'll be coming to meet you soon. We can have our discussion then, if I haven't sliced you in half." She replied, before moving forward. But rather than rush in, she readies one of the non-lethal poison grenades. Aiming to throw it in the pirate ship, waiting for it to dissipate, and hopefully render the pirates waiting for them immobile giving them an easier time dispatching their enemies. Before finally boarding the Veetoo.
Isabia give Heart some colto too on her wounded neck and take away her armor. "No hard feelings for that, it is just part of job." She said and secured her in cargo and give her some water to drink. "Alright Vetrik, now it is curse on republic office." She said and offered to him armor of Heart. "I know it is for women, but I think you should be able to fit in that."
"You know, my dear mother told me not to insult a lady, but you're being very unreasonable!" Ohnaka spits back. "This is NOT GOOD BUSINESS!" The line goes dead. Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: 49 (Minor Failure) The grenade pings forward, detonating in a spray of green gas, but dissipates quickly, pumped into air vents. Looking forward, she sees a number of weequay pirates, standing in the cargo area of the decent sized freighter. "Why are the pretty girls so annoying?" The red-garbed man, who she takes to be Hondo, sighs, before ordering the ten or so men behind him. "Attack!"
"W-Wow, thanks!" He beams, and takes the armor to the back room to get changed. "Good kid. Glad I didn't kill him." Heart chuckles, groaning as the kolto does its work. Soon after, the ship lifts off, heading for Coruscant.
"Unfortunate." Eve groans as she realized the gas disappeared too quickly. But as she saw the men waiting for her, the fact that Hondo was among them made it clear that he didn't have that big of a crew after all. "You two, take cover, and provide suppressing shots." He ordered, aiming to make the mercs support her, as she charges in. Eve looks for areas to hide from blaster shots, while making her way toward the 'Legendary Pirate' cutting down his men as she did.
Isabia laught behind her helmet. "Yeah, I'm glad too. Just today I saved him from band of mercenaries, who rush after him for breaking into their base. I told them that he pissed his pants on their sigh and they laught off and leave him away." Isabia offer some water to Heart, since she wasn't able to use her hands. "I have to thank you also for fact, that you surrender. You are my thrid bounty which I managed to take alive. By the way, why did you killed these two bounty hunters? Argue at the bottle or something more serious? " She asked as she began to repair jetpack of Heart.
"Got it!" The mercs take cover behind two cargo crates and begin to open up with their bowcasters, sending green streaks flying toward Ohnaka's thugs. Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: 42+20 (Skill+Blade) Darting forward, Eve slices a pirate at the waist, watching as he falls to two pieces, before hacking off the hands of another who dared to aim at her. Before she can advance, though, a bowcaster round lands right next to her, fired by a pirate at the back of the room, the sheer kinetic force sending a storage box flying. As more shots come pouring in, Eve is forced to take cover behind a crate. "Flush her out!" A voice shouts, and Eve hears the sound of a grenade being armed.
Heart gladly takes a drink, chuckling at Isabia's story. "Oh, that? They were hitting on this waitress, making her uncomfortable. The girl's boyfriend came in to try and stop them, and they started beating on him. It seemed like they were gonna kill the poor kid, so I stepped in. Things got out of hand from there."
"Tsk, unfortunate." Eve clicks her tongue as she's forced to take cover. He has yet to call for reinforcements, and it didn't seem as if he used anything to call for them as well. She thought to herself, thinking that all the pirates on this ship was currently shooting at her, I suppose there are some pilotting, and operating the tractor beam. The android figured, just as she heard the sound of a grenade. She grabs a low explosive grenade of her own, throwing it at the pirates currently firing at her. Hoping to distract them, so that she could move from her current hiding place.
Spoiler: Combat Rolls D100: Eve: 51 Eve's mercs: 100 (Crit) Ohnaka Pirates: 95 (Crit) Explosive Damage: 44+10 (Crit) Eve HP: 46 Eve peeks out of cover to toss her grenade, but as she does, she hears the clanking of metal on metal beside her. There's a bang, and then she's flying, slamming into a nearby crate with enough force to leave a dent. "She's down! Get her!" The pirates shout and rush the android, but before they reach her, the lead man goes flying back, hit by a bowcaster round. "Forget us?" The mercs, in cover, with their targets in the open, have easy pickings. A barrage of high impact shots sear forth, sending pirates flying and knocking off limbs. "You alright?" One of the mercs helps Eve to her feet, as the other fires and misses at the last surviving pirate, who ducks into a vent and crawls away.
"Gah!" Eve groans as she's smalled against the wall, she hurried runs a scan on herself to check if there were any serious damage, but thankfully, the mercs she trusted came through. "Nnh, I am... fine." She said, as she stands up. Sadly, even if her body was fine. Her dress, which was made out of simple material couldn't escape the heat of the explosion, and the impact. Causing it to burn, and rip in certain places, her skirt now unable to hide her crotch, thankfully her juices have already dried. Along with exposing more of her large cleavage. "Thank you for your help." Eve said as she picks up her sword, mustering her strength. She once again charges toward the pirates, using anything she could find as a cover to avoid their bolts, and waiting for the mercs to provide support again.
Eve feels the mercs staring at her, as she picks up her sword. Looking around the pirate cargo hold, she sees no hostiles, the pirates all dead or fled further into the ship.
"So they fled." Eve groaned, still reeling from some pain. "Shall we search for them?" She asked the two mercs, after all, she did promise she'd let them keep whatever loot they could find. With that, she leads the way, slowly searching the ship for any signs of where the pirates fled.
The men fall in behind her. Heading deeper into the ship, through a series of interconnected hallways, checking the med bay and armory on the way, Eve reaches a crossroads - one path leading to engineering, and the other to the bridge.
"They must have tried to fortify the bridge." Eve states, thinking that the pirates had become desperate. "But that should work in our favor." She smiles, holding up a non-lethal poison grenade. "Let's go, we can check our loot later." The android makes her way to the bridge, but rather than burst in. She lets the door open a little, before throwing the grenade, and moving to the side to avoid their bolts.
Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: 85 Eve hears a satisfying boom, and then Ohnaka's voice. "Stop blowing holes in my ship!" If she peeks inside the bridge, she sees two dead pirates, and Hondo tucking himself through a doorway.
Seeing the 'Legendary pirate' cowering by a doorway, Eve smiles. She makes sure that the poison has dissipated, and that there were no other pirates hiding. And if she doesn't see any other hostiles, the android enters the bridge. "I take it this is your way of surrendering?" Eve asked, blade drawn as she approached Ohnaka
