The door shuts in front of Ohnaka, leaving him visible only through a glass screen. She sees his mouth open, but no sound comes out, until he realises she can't hear him, and turns on the intercom. "You did well, girl, eh? Unfortunately for you, you won't be getting me today. I have an escape pod!" He turns, so she can see the pod behind him. "If you're ever on Nar Shaddaa, look me up! I have a club there, a nice place. You'd be a great fit, eh?" He laughs. "Oh, by the way, by way of apology, you're welcome to whatever cargo you can carry from my hold, before the ship blows up." Hondo smiles, as an electronic voice calls out: "Self destruct in T- 5 minutes..." Hondo enters the escape pod. "That's my cue! 'Till our next meeting, pretty lady! We'll do good business!"
"What!?" Eve gasped as she heard the self-destruct sequence. She hops onto the consoles to see if she could somehow manage to stop it. "You two, find the controls to the tractor beam, and return to the ship!" She ordered the mercs, as she uses her skills in handling other technology to try and stop the explosion. But if it seemed impossible, Eve runs back to the ship, and tells Valentija to fly away as fast as possible.
Rushing to the controls, Eve thanks the maker that her grenade didn't damage anything. She feels her organics sweating as she slices into the terminal, trying to override the countdown. Spoiler: Slicing Roll D100: 92+10 (Computer Skill)= 102 (Crit) "Self-destruct sequence terminated. Full system control granted. Have a pleasant day." The voice announces, as the lights on the terminal go green. Eve sighs in relief - the ship is hers.
(Niiiice!) "Hah." Eve lets out a relieved sigh, she uses the communication equipment Ohnaka used to interferre with her ship. "Valentija, we've succeeded." She said in a relieved tone, Now... how do we handle taking back two ships to Coruscant. The android pondered, Those mercs... if I leave them there, they might overppower Valentija. She thought to herself, "Hmm... it might be extreme. But it did say non-lethal." Her gaze drops to her grenade. For now, she makes sure the Veetoo was alright, before returning to her first ship to meet with her companion, and the mercs.
Checking the cameras, Eve sees that the Veetoo is empty, beside her and the two mercs, who, after dealing with the tractor beam, are rummaging through the cargo containers. Back on her ship, Eve sees the naked Valdoon and the mercs she didn't free, all still bound, and staring at her body in the damaged dress. "That was lucky..." Valentina sighs, as Eve tells her what happened.
"Indeed. But luck was on our side. And now we have a new ship." Eve smiles, "Which reminds me. Here." She hands Valentija the belts of poison grenades. "In case they attempt anything. These poisons should make their deaths slow, and painful." She said as she turns her head toward the staring prisoners. "So please, behave yourselves." She gives them a smiles, as if daring them to riot. "Now, let's return." Eve nods, heading back into the Veetoo. She leaves the two mercs with her, hoping the threat of a slow death was enough to keep the prisoners trying anything. With that out of the way, Eve tells Valentija to make a jump for Coruscant to cash in their bounties.
A day later, Eve's back on Coruscant, Valdoon handed over, and exchanged for credits. (+20,000 Credits, +Veetoo freighter) "That was an adventure..." Valentija sighs, as they enjoy some drinks at the bar. "You don't really believe in starting off slow, do you?" She chuckles. Eve's conscious of even more stares than usual, since her dress is damaged.
With a successful bounty, Eve's tension eases up. "Aaah... finally." She sighed, grabbing herself a drink. "No, as I said. I had a mission to finish." She replied, smiling. Eyes widening a bit as she blushes, realizing how much the others were staring at her. "Right... perhaps a trip to a tailor is in order." She mumbled, as she downs her glass. "And maybe a trip to Zer0 in order." She mumbled, the mission making her aware how she lacked the skills for long-range combat, and a way to deal with multiple enemies at once. "Or perhaps... we should secure accommodations? While I may be... driven. I know how tiring the mission must be for you"
"I could get some sleep, yeah." Valentija nods. "But I'm okay for now. Oh, before I forget, those mercenaries you freed left you a package of spice, from the pirate's cargo, as a thank you for freeing them."
"Spice?" Eve tilts her head, "They were more thoughtful than I thought." She said with a smirk. "Very well, if you're fine for now, I suppose we should restock our supplies." The android figured she could use more types of grenades. "But first, a trip to a tailor." Eve nods, heading to a clothing shop hoping to repair her dress, and maybe reinforce it as well.
Mulan listen to Heart story and nod for that. " Well I understand your point but if what you said is true, why you didn't try explaining this to law district? You have witnesses that you act in protecting others? Did you panic? " She asked.
"Local marshall was one of those 'zero tolerance' guys - he hates bounty hunters." She shrugs. "I was the only one still alive, so I got arrested. I was a bounty hunter, and a stranger, so no one tried to help me out - even the girl and her boyfriend. Sheriff made it pretty clear when I was locked up that he planned to have me put in front of a firing squad, so I bolted."
Getting onto the holo net, Eve hears about a place near the senate district that does repairs. Behind the desk is a well dressed Cathar male, who raises his eyebrows as he sees the state of Eve's dress. "I'm guessing you need repairs?" He chuckles, before gesturing for her to come forward. "Let me get your measurements." Though a droid would normally do this, the tailor elects to personally wrap tape around her hips and chest to measure her, as he examines the material of her dress, the hands and eyes on the android making her blush involuntarily. "Alright, then, should be an easy fix - 100 credits for same day service." After she enquires about reinforcement, he smiles. "I thought you might be the type. I do armor underlay clothing, yeah - generally for senators and other VIPs. Unless you're rich, the top of the line stuff is out of your reach, but I could do some subtle and effective armor for... 5000 credits." (5000 Credits, +10 Damage Protection)
"Mmh... nnh... hhnng." Eve bites her lips, cursing how sensitive her body was, and how frustrated she felt. But luckily, the measuring was over, leaving her breathing a bit heavier than usual. "Very well, please have it done." She replied, knowing that she'll need the extra protection if she's to go after bigger prey. She paid 5100 credits for the reinforcement, and same day service.
(-5100 Credits, +Armor Lined Dress) "Very well, I'll have it done in a few hours. In the meantime, take this." He hands her a small holographic projector. "I'm guessing you didn't come here with a change of clothes? This will project holographic clothing to your body - you'll be in your underwear, but to anyone looking at you, you'll seem fully clothed." A few hours later, Eve is looking in a mirror, wearing her new dress. She can barely notice the lining, so subtly has it been woven into the seams, but it's definitely there. Besides that, the dress looks identical to the way it did before. The only difference is that it clings slightly tighter to her body, and makes her breasts a little more pronounced. "Well? What do you think?" The Cathar eyes her.
Mulan nod for that and they fly in silence for longer moments. " Well, I'm going to give you to more official structure in Republic, so there is a chance for you to live. " She said and once again check Heart bonds. " Hey, Yetrik, did you finish? Go show yourself!"
Eve patiently waits for her upgraded dress. Not really minding the holographic clothes, as a sense of shame hasn't formed within her yet. And after waiting, "Oh?" She's impressed by the work, but feeling it a bit too tight on her bust. "Uhm... no, never mind. It's wonderful, truly well done." Eve replied, giving him a smile. "I'll return if I need more repairs done." She said as she bids the Cathar good bye. "Now, for Zer0." The android decided to ask for the cost of her upgrade, "Wait, perhaps he could also examine the staff?" She said to Valentija, prompting them to return to get it, before visiting the repair droid
The droid greets them in his workshop. "You return. You were interested in upgrades, I assume? And what's that in your hand?" The droid looks at the staff.
Isabia point at Heart. "Go watch for her. Since I have someone, I prefer to keep watch on my bounty. I will go to cocpit." She said and get focus on arrival to their destination.
