"Yes, much as I'd like to dispose of him now. We'll need his help if we're to go after bigger targets. As you may have figured, we are... unsuited for espionage." Eve replied, "Before that, I'd like you to shoot this mask. That should help in selling our story. I doubt they'll want to deal with a severed head, who has an extra hole in his head." The android places the mask on a nearby surface, as she waits for Valentija to fire.
The Jedi nods, he and Vetrik securing themselves in the Basilisk's armored core, while Isabia secures herself on top of the war machine, air rushing as she links her suit's systems to the creature. "O-Oh no, they're aiming at us!" The protocol droid cries out in distress from the cockpit, to which the Jawa calls out a fast paced reply. "Y-Yes, master." The droid says, nervously. "Approaching Serenno's orbit in three, two, one... Go!" The light above the cargo bay goes green, and suddenly Isabia feels something pulling at her, tugging at her, and a creeping cold rise over her body. Then, she turns her head, and realises she's moving - being dragged out the cargo bay's now open door, and into space. There's a moment of involuntary panic as Isabia experiences the vacuum of space, a feeling of dread as she sees behind her the incomprehinsibly large void, and on the other side, the planet below her, looming ever larger. Then, suddenly things grow hot. Her armor glows red, as she begins to enter Serenno's atmosphere, and she sweats uncomfortably. Before she can be fried, though, the Basilisk gets into action, pumping ice cold coolant through her suit to keep her temperature down. The world around her visor goes red, and then shifts to white, as she realises that she's sailing through the clouds. The Basilisk's thrusters boom as they activate, and Isabia is grinning as she gains control of the vehicle. There's something natural - an instinctive euphoria that washes over the Mandalorian, as she feels the same thrill her ancestors once did, flying down to a hostile planet. Her reverie is cut short as a brilliant bolt of red sails past her side. Looking down at the green hills of Serenno, she spots a turret installation built into the side of a mountain. The Basilisk sends a flashing alert to her visor, informing her that it's charging up for a second shot. (Sorry if that was too long or too incoherent.)
"Good idea." Valentija nods, drawing her new carbine and firing. At that range, it's impossible for her to miss, and the mask flies into the air, carbon scored and broken.
(I like it very much. I enjoy longer posts) Isabia breathing faster as Basilisk fly down to the surface of the planet, mixing heat and cold in her body. It been something natural in pilot this ship, what let's her moving like no one before. Like her ancestors in creed! System inform her about turrett aiming at her, so she shoot her own laser cannons at turrett, before it shoot her, zig zag her curse to awoid shoots.
Spoiler: Piloting Roll D100: 75 The Basilisk zooms through Serenno's sky, almost too fast for her to keep track of things, but something instinctive guides her hands and feet as she pilots the ancient craft. Squeezing her feet against the craft's strirrup-like foot guards, she sends the vessel darting about into acrobatic rolls and turns, dodging every one of the mounted gun's shots. Finally, her fingers press the triggers, sending a volley of laser fire into the turret's gun, putting it out of action. Passing it, she turns to make another pass, before pressing a button, watching two missiles zoom forth, hitting the turret. As she passes the mountain again, she feels a shockwave pressing against her as the gun is enveloped in flame, the missiles exploding to send chunks of molten metal flying up to rain down on the countryside. Flying away to avoid any other engagements, Isabia lands the ship in a field, far from where she destroyed the turret, and checks her map. From what the instruments tell her, she's about a kilometer away from the Winter Palace, where the Jawa told her the countess was imprisoned.
Eve picks up the mask, and heads back to the ship with Valentija. "Let's go. Hopefully we don't encounter any more 'Legendary Pirates' on our way." She giggled, as she figured her cover up was perfect.
"Are we taking it back to the Guild, or to the client directly?" The blonde settles in the pilot's seat.
Isabia made battle cry as she destroyed turret, feeling adrelaine and existed in her veins. "Hayyyaa! That is what I talking about it!" She scream in to the sky, as they finally landed on the ground. She almost was read to kiss Jawa, but she hold up herself. "That was better than I expected! I almost forgot about tales but this reminded me everything!" She as they leave the ship. "Better go on the foot right now. Let's camouflage Basilisk, and go to palace." She said to Jedi and Vetrik.
Valentija nods, and before too long, they're back on Coruscant. Spoiler: Deception Roll D100: 71 "And you're sure the rest of him was unrecoverable?" Oskara, the Twi'lek enforcer who welcomed them originally, narrows her eyes as she sees the mask. "Whatever. It's your ass if the guy shows up alive somewhere, though." She hands over the bounty money. (+3000 Credits)
"After that fight? Even if we recovered the rest of him, he'll be unidentifiable." Eve replied, pointing at the mask. But with that done, she leaves, not taking another bounty for now. The android returns to Valentija, "For now. We should prepare again, I'll... see if there are any clients waiting for me on my side-job." She mumbled, "What will you do?"
Vetrik chuckles. "Someone likes her new toy." The Jawa gives an enthusiastic whoop, before using the Force to cover the Basilisk in foliage, and heading out. A half hour later, the trio stand on a rocky bluff overlooking an idyllic small city. At the top of the city is the Winter Palace, a large complex, and a reflection of this planet's wealth. Spoiler: Awareness Roll D100: 80+10 Looking around using the zoom function on her visor, Isabia spots a battalion of B2 battle droids in front of the palace, guarding the main entrance. Two smaller groups of about a dozen each guard the two side entrances In the city, she spots several companies of the more common B1 variant, patrolling the streets. Through the great windows, using her zoom, Isabia spots human soldiers walking around inside - the organic Royal Guard troops.
"Oh, uh, have fun." The blonde blushes. "As for me, I'm not sure. I'll see what trouble there is to get into." She chuckles.
"Very well... see you later." Eve replied, blushing a little. Before heading toward the brothel, "It might be too soon for Vries. But maybe the others in the auction?" She mumbled to herself, wondering if she'll have any clients waiting for her already.
Isabia thinking about the plan how to get inside the palace, without rising alarm. "Hmm... Master Jedi, do you have any contacts inside the place who could help us get inside? On other hand I would suggest for us to wait to the night and try sneak inside palace from the side door, using our jetpacks. You are small, so there won't be a problem with taking you on our back. " She said and point at the small city. " Or, we could try find some of service in the city. In palace like this, there must be a lot servants, cooks and cleaners, someone to convince or paid off. "She said their options.
(Sorry, I forgot to add that she sees a less guarded side door, due to critting.) The Jedi nods at the first suggestion, and at the third, indicating that there's an inside man, but also that making contact with the servants could be a good idea.
Heading into the Pleasure Emporium once more, Eve is pleased to see a more than a few sets of eyes turn to look at her. The receptionist greets her with a smile as she walks to the front desk, and begins working. Spoiler: D5 4 "Ah, it looks like someone's requested you at one of the rooms." The receptionist informs her not long after. "A Chiss woman named Morella. Don't know much more about her, I'm afraid."
Spoiler: Awareness Roll D100: 78 "Eee, all the time. Won a few, as well." The Gammorean tells an obvious lie in an attempt to impress the Twi'leks. "In fact, I could probably get you into HQ, being a racer." He neglects to say that this priveledge probably comes from his job as a guard.
"I-I see, very well, I'll meet her." Eve nods, as she heads to the designated room. But as she walked, she pondered. Morella? If I recall, she was the only woman that bid... but a woman? The android tried to think of a reason why someone of the same sex would hire her. Though she recalled her time with Valentija, Eve shrugged that off as the effect of the Noghri's drug. But still, she was here 'mainly' for the credits. So she didn't think too much about it.
