They quickly purchase their winter gear, not really going so far as to reinforce it, as she figured if a fight were to break out, it would be inside of a, hopefully, warm structure. And as they saw the skimpy swinwear, "Should we?" Eve asked, thinking on the off chance they miss the Padawan on Ilum.
Heading round some corners, she sees a large, beautiful chamber. Along one wall, she sees a terminal - and two B1s in front of it.
"No reason not to - they're cheap." Valentija shrugs. "We'll look less like bounty hunters - and even if we catch the kid on Ilum, it could come in useful on some other job."
Isabia bend the knee by Jawa Jedi. "Could you use your force trick or what ever you call that, to move with sound flower cup? It would take their attention."
"Utinni.' The Jawa nods, before reaching out a hand. Spoiler: Distraction Roll D100: 15 The vase rolls on its axis, then topples, before shattering on the tiled floor. The B1s do... Nothing. "Old droids..." Vetrik sighs. "Their auditory receptors are probably pieces of junk."
"Very well, I suppose you are correct. It seems that... our bodies have some sort of effect on people." Eve mumbled as she checks out the swimsuits, "Hmm... wait, some of these look just like what I'm wearing underneath." She pondered out loud, but figured she may as well pick up a few extras. Since a nice surprise might just catch an enemy off guard. Eve picks out two swimwears she tries out, and shows Valentija. "What do you think of these?" She asked, doing a little twirl to show off her body in the skimpier swimwear. Spoiler Spoiler
"Heh, I think you might kill some of the bounties outright by heart attacks if they see you in those." The blonde grins, as she picks out her own set. "So, we're ready for Ilum?"
"Hehe. Then our jobs will be a lot easier." Eve giggles, before nodding. "Yes, we should head out now. If there is someone else hunting him, we'll need all the time we can get." She replied, as they pay for their new clothes, then heading back to the Veetoo to depart.
Isabia sigh and nod to Jawa. "Alright, we gona take them out. Show me your lightsaber skills." She said taking her wibroblade and going with Jawa to take down droids.
A day and change later, the Veetoo jumps into the Ilum system, Eve seeing the ravaged surface of the ice planet below. A trench runs through the equator, a massive Imperial mining facility carved like a scar into the planet's surface, now silent since the Empire has left. "Looks like signal traffic is dead. This place is deserte- Wait." Valentija says. "One ship in orbit - in a holding pattern. An old freighter. Maybe that's the ship the kid took to get here?" Pressing a few buttons, she brings an enhanced image of the ship in question up on the viewscreen.
Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: Isabia: 74+10 (Wreav Clan vibroknife) Jedi: 75+10 (Jedi) "Is that a Jedi?" One of the B1s exclaims as the Jawa's lightsaber ignites, humming softly as it shines a brilliant beam of yellow. "Roger, roger..." Its companion mutters dejectedly, as the Jawa begins to athletically leap across the room in a series of flips and sommersaults, before slicing one of the B1s in half. The other one tries to raise its blaster to attack, but before its metal finger can touch the trigger, Isabia's blade carves into its head from behind. The whole engagement took maybe three seconds, and once again, the hall is quiet, leaving Isabia with the terminal.
As they arrived at their destination, Eve looks around the area with Valentija as they spot the old freighter. "Can we detect if there is anybody inside that ship?" The android asked, wondering if they'll be attacked if they descend to the planet. "Also, please do a constant scan, his pursuer might not be far behind."
Isabia chuckled hidding her wibroblade. "Well, songs of past were right. These B1 are such easy to take down. Good work Jedi." She said and let's Vetrik get to terminal. "Check how many security waiting for us to Countess and try to hack alarm, to not let it turn on in cause our mistake." She said and in the same time she clean mess of broken robots to wardroops.
Valentija presses a few buttons. "There's life signs aboard - no idea how much life, though. My uncle served on an old freighter like that one, though. The crew would be small, maybe half a dozen to a full dozen. The rest is cargo space. As for the scans, I haven't seen any hyperspace emissions in the system yet. No one's arrived or left."
"Very well. With a ship like that, I doubt they'll be well prepared for a fight." Eve replied, "Can you trace if our target has already made his way into the planet?" She asked, pondering if they were still preparing, or if the ship was waiting for him to return.
"Utinni." The Jedi nods, using the Force to move the broken droids. Spoiler: Slicing Roll D100: 79 (Pass) Slicing into the system, Isabia hijacks the camera feeds and manages to disable the local alarm system, as well as bringing up a blueprint of the palace. There's a large doorway in the bowels of the palace, beyond which is what the butler called the 'inner sanctum'. She can't access any of the systems beyond the doors, but she can see that outside it are five guards in black armor. Five more guards, these ones in red armor, patrol the nearby halls. Looking through the entire palace, she sees about 100 guards, but there's a clear route from where she is to the doorway, so those ten should be the only ones she faces, at least at first.
"I'll need to get a little closer to scan the planet." Valentija shakes her head - gesturing to the computer screen which shows the planet as a large circle in the centre of a map, and the Veetoo as a small blip at the edge of the star system.
"I see." Eve nods, "We'll take the alternative then. Can you use the device Ohnaka used to infiltrate our old ship's comms?" She asked, thinking to simply take the direct approach as they didn't know when they could he ambushed by the other pursuer.
Isabia take her blaster gun. "Well, if anyone has any ideas how to overcome these ten guards at the gate, it look like we have to fight seriously with them." She said know guards are not that stupid to abond their post. "Let's try to take down all these five guards in red armor. One by one."
