A 4 year story is an amazing achievement, and one well deserving of a rest to recover from. I will look forward to the next journey once you have recovered.

Well done. I can't say I expected that particular choice, but it's for you to make.

That's a relief. Didn't really want to rehash the rope room.

I almost feel sorry for the manager, but making it jump on a pile of grenades is too funny. Blizzard doesn't seem to interfere with invisibility (or at least it didn't for the manager). I'm hoping the ring will protect against the chemicals and things, but distance and playing safe (with...

An excess of emp grenades seems fine, there is no shortage of grenades to use after all. Don't use lightning (we learnt that lesson at least twice). But otherwise use everything. Because it's only one person not three we will be down a fight winning amount from the get go so we had better find...

I don't think multiple weapons is going to work well, and the axe is clearly better for this fight (of the close range weapons anyway). The prism staff could work though, as long as Yulia is well enough to use a healing potion she can recover from nearly dead. Now I'm really wishing we had...

That's most of the tools used, I'm not sure what else other than clever uses of open there is. Clearing a path for lighting and plasma and using the teleport to outrun him are the best I have. You can also try mixing the spells up, that usually helps. There is also the break glass plan, getting...

Yulia, that was very clever, well done. Looks like Emmie has it covered, although offensive magic does still work. Bringing out a plasma rifle can't be a bad idea (ammo is a non-issue, someone else can charge up a spare). If there was a time to bring out all the guns it's now. Aqua is 95 after...

I'm back to thinking about teleporting again. Can you teleport yourself out of the water then lightning the water? Presumably it still has a surface. Im guessing there isn't an easy way to get it to swallow a grenade.

Between the illustone and the ring I would guess that most things the mind flayers can do will be entirely ineffective. Otherwise I think barrage of spells should do the trick. Funny idea, but can you use Open to forcibly teleport someone? Because if so you can also just try teleporting someone...

Were the spiders 3rd? I thought they were fourth. Well, we have a knife of cutting through threads, so that seems promising. Otherwise any kind of wide area attack (like blizzard or grenades) should be good, and then any other magic also works. Also nice to know the axe works.

I thought this might be next. We will probably need to fight everything we lost to even if we later beat it then. Anyone up for some chapter diving to work out what that is (I think it should be mindflayers next so colour stone should help). Cloak and anti-demon axe should do for added...

Thank goodness for that.

I can't imagine the head priest will be an issue. With a reasonable strategy I don't think I'm going to be concerned until the last couple of floors worth of opponents. We will be able to take the best equipment at each stage at least. The only thing I want to look out for now is if they have...

So, how are we getting the ring back to what's her name? It is kind of important to the all cursed item idea. Otherwise, I guess we can continue. I'm still really tempted to kill him though, what he is saying doesn't hold much water because if it were true then warning us off seems odd. Are...
