"Roger that." The pilot flew closer. "We have eight heat signatures. Five on the base of the tree in the upper section. The ones below might be some kind of animals..." The pilot reported, as she flew the shuttle around, taking it down and landig not far from the tree's etrance.
"Rogere that. I will be going out, to say helo to hammer heads. Let me know if anomaly starts doing something." She said and terminated the connection. "Sir, the shuttle established the audio and video connections from their suits... Shall I put them on screen?" the clone asked from her console.
“The suspected animals might be some sort of domesticated animals... or they might be guard animals. Be ready for anything, but do not act aggressive – we do not want to cause an incident.” Victoria instructed the clones, then looked at Sylvie. “I will take the lead, with you right behind me. Officially we are travelers from a distant country, lost and trying to figure out where we are.” Technically correct, from a certain point of view.
‘Keep the screen with the anomaly, we ought to make sure it doesn’t move towards the Spear or us,’ the captain ordered, ‘Put LtCmdr Naomi’s suit feed on screen as well.’
Saffrona give orders to take cover all of her troops, to be ready for possible assault. Sure, It was part of their fleet, but better be sorry than death.
Spoiler: ? 47 - fail Sylvie nodded and waved her hand soon, soon and escort of four clones in red uniforms and two in white uniforms formed upon Victoria, ready to depart. The two pilots and four clones in white uniforms stayed by the shuttle. Their entire encourage was of course armed with simple energy pistols. The security and officers' weapons had additional stun function included - if need came to be.
Spoiler: Tactical 41+10 (Tactical)-10 (fast changing orders) - fail As Saffrona gave order, she quickly realised it was a chaotic decission - the orders she gave conflicted with the previous rescue orders, and quickly created chaos. As she turned to shuttle, she noticed the ramp opening - on it a number of shiulettes, wearing Federation's marienes sealed suits. As he gave orders, 1/4 of the screen showed anomaly. The remaining place, showed a number of monitors -feeds from the clones helmets with the names under the feeds. When the hatch opened, he came to witness a rather chaotic scene, where hangar seemed to be damaged and some clones from spear went around performing rescue operations, while others seemed to be hiding behind covers, facing Naomi with their weapons drawn.
Saffrona face palm hersellf as she realized that she just made even bigger mess than it was before. Failure as capitan, she was but it won't matter right now. "Alright, everybody, stand down. Their are our alliance. Everyone get back to rescue operations." She said comand trying to clean up mess what she made before.
Andrey knew Naomi could handle the situation with no troubles, and it was a relieve to see so many of the Spear’s crew alive and well. He kept an eye on the anomaly too, not wanting the same thing to happen to his ship as it did to the Spear.
As the clones resumed their operations, Saffrona looked at the arrivals - one of them at least, was a non-clone. She was simply taller. The others were probably clones - it was hard to see through the suit. They slowly walked out of the shuttle... As Andrey looked at the screens, he noticed on one of the clone's monitors a blond - Saffrona Lehaiy, Captain of the Spear of Tounder Storm. She seemed to be giving out orders, then looking in the direction of his clones.
‘Make contact with Captain Lehaiy and help her to get the ship under control again, Naomi,’ Andrey called to his 2IC over the comms.
"Roger that." He soon received an answer from Naomi. As he looked at the screen, his second in command started making her way to the captain of the ship. "Captain Saffrona Lehaiy. I am First officer of Mendeleyev, Naomi." Spoiler: Intelligence 24+10 (science) - fail @Regin34 As she looked at the newcomers, she noticed that they started approaching her. The leader - the highest rank among the newcomers stepped forward. "Captain Saffrona Lehaiy. I am First officer of Mendeleyev, Naomi."
“Alright, let's go find out who lives here and if they are friendly.” Victoria ordered as she led the small group. (Sorry for the poor post, still not fully over my writer's block.)

There was a slight twitch in his neck as he tried to maintain his composure and not be dumbfounded by her obvious beauty (or bosom). "As you're no doubt aware, the Midway is in orbit of the third planet of this system. We sent a probe down into the atmosphere but lost contact with it when it hit a cyclone." He paused curse under his breath the fact his ship had no tractor beam. It made his ask harder. "As we need a complete survey of this system I contemplated taking the Midway into the planet's atmosphere, before I called you. The Aegean is smaller, faster, and more maneuverable than the Midway at sub-light; that combined with the fact your ship has less gross tonnage, my rationale is that the Aegean would be less susceptible to the planet's gravity, better able to descend into the atmosphere, and have a higher likelihood of being able to return to a stable orbit than the Midway should anything go wrong. As such I would be remiss and perhaps negligent if I didn't ask for the Aegean's assistance. If you're unavailable or unwilling I'm prepared to order the Midway to execute the maneuver, but I thought you're ship would have a better chance of success."
Violetta blushes slightly, and pretends not to notice her fellow captain looking at her breasts. "I can't say I'm eager at the prospect of piloting my ship into a maelstrom. Still, your logic is sound - the Aegean is better suited to the task. We'll do it - if we can't find a better way." @majus The captain turns to her chief science officer. "Any alternatives you can see? A way to scan the planet without getting close?"
"Thank you Captain, I'll have the Midway remain in geostationary orbit above the Aegean once you begin your attempt. We'll be with you the whole way to render assistance should you need it. Midway out." With that said, Zack waited for confirmation from Captain Solaris before he closed the channel and returned to CIC. "Communications, maintain an open line with the Aegean at all times." he ordered before turning to two other bridge stations. "Science and Engineering, the Aegean is going to descend into the planet's atmosphere in an attempt to get a better reading of the planet. We'll remain in orbit to assist them in whatever capacity they need. In the event that their ship encounters problems in the atmosphere and has trouble returning to orbit I want you to come up with courses of action we can take to assist them. Get to it." With his orders issued, Tungsten returned his attention to the holographic display.
{No problem} The group slowly made their way to the treehouse. There did not seem to be any visible movement... Spoiler: Awareness 83 - success but Victoria noticed some movement behind one of the windows. She was almost sure that they were noticed. "Rules of engagement?" One of the clones asked as they walked in the direction of the giant tree.
Spoiler: crew intelligence 100 +10(science officer)- critical success "If we had time, Captain, we could build an armoured probe." It was Science officer Mara Rykov, who answered surprisingly. "If we had more time, we could mine one of the asteroids and build several probes, making them work in a group. It would take a long time, but it's the safest curse of action."
"Yes sir!" The clone confirmed, as turned back to her console. As he looked at the planet, he noticed that the storms on the surface looked almost tranquil... from this distance. "Captain." Kayla nodded to him as she stopped beside Zachary.
(Sorry for long break) Saffrona nod to Naomi. "Thank you for your coming here, First officer Naomi. We get hit by strange wave of anomaly what shout down our system. We managed to return power in our enginers, but our computers are infected by some strange code, what we could't understand. Send message to your capitan, that he must move much far away from the anomaly and make backup of his system on separated discs. Also, we need medical help, because many of my crewmembers get uncouncoiuss by this strange energy and we can't wake them up."
