He watches her full and well-rounded figure move to the music for a little bit but when the spy moves on and he sees the signs of the sisters' closeness, a plan starts to form in his head. Many criminal organizations were not against kidnapping family to draw in their intended target, so if the sister were to suddenly vanish and some vaguely threatening message were to get to Linda telling her to meet up somewhere about it, then the peace keepers of the city would most likely end up barking up the wrong trees investigating those connections with little to no idea of the sister's true captor. He would need to wait until nightfall to make his move, too much open space in the suburbs during the day and it was warm enough he did not want to be exposed to that direct level of sunlight for too long anyway, but he had already shown a fair deal of patience, so what was a few hours more?
With a location to check out, Sonata releases the boy, letting him collect the purse and run off. The woman's scream startles Sonata. He pivots to face the source and sees she's not a threat. "They attacked me. I defended myself. No time to wait for police. At least one of them ran, so stay safe," is all he says, still using his power for robotic modulation, before turning to leave the alley. He'll stop by his apartment to throw on a black coat over his top and use some makeup to match his features as closely as he can to those of the boy he interrogated. Then, he'll head downtown and look for Tinnitus, hopefully finding a rooftop where he can assess the area from a distance. He looks for any entrances other than the front door. I don't want to do the impersonation plan. I don't even know either of their names. He sighs. This is such a bad idea, but I need something to show for the alley earlier, and it really needs to be today. Though...maybe being hated wouldn't be so bad. Hmm.
Hearing that her comrade was little out of it, Amethyst Heart quickly and quietly gave a preview of situation, without giving any names, then asked Gypsy for possible solutions from her side.
“Hmm... the police are not a good choice. They are probably not my biggest fans right now, plus quite a few cops are corrupt and might just sell the vial to the highest bidder once they know what is inside. Even if we find some honest cops, they will likely start asking questions, such as how we got the vial in the first place.” Azura was not the biggest fan of the local police. “Considering Toxin's attack the owners of the chemical plant are probably not in the mood for dealing with superheroes. They are more likely to call the cops than help us. That leaves Sapphira's friend as the best choice.: She focused her gaze on the blonde. “How reliable is this ex of yours? Can she be trusted? And how will she react to you going to her to ask for help?”
"Just like you did when you looked into matters that didn't concern you." The boy smiles. "But don't get me wrong, I'm grateful. Now that Oscar's out of the picture, I get to have my turn. I don't know how a prissy rich girl like you did it, but it doesn't matter - unlike Oscar, I took precautions. To more pressing matters - It's time for you to sign away your shares." "Damn..." Jenny's driver, a tall dark skinned man, takes his time ogling his charge as she enters the luxury car Duke sent. "If the boss didn't want you, I'd be on you in a second, girl." He laughs, and begins to drive. As the city goes past through the window, Jenny's surprised to see that the car's heading first into the city's upper class districts, and then into the truly elite city center. "From what I heard about you and Hammer, I'm guessing you'd prefer something a little dirtier, maybe a gangbang in the slums? Don't worry, you'll get your chance, but for now it's time to mingle with high society." Jenny sees the car drive beneath the looming tower of the Hotel Grand, the most expensive of its kind in the city. The car parks in the underground lot, and the driver grins. "Alright, girl. Showtime." A uniformed staff member leads Jenny upstairs, to an expensive looking bar, where Dylan Duke awaits, wolf whistling as he eyes the blonde up. "If it ain't the woman of the hour." He crosses over to her, slipping his arms around her waist to squeeze her ass through the material of her coat. "Normally, I'd have you start working in the club, but something important came up and I figured you'd be perfect for it. I've got a meeting, and I need someone to charm my guest." Duke leads her to the booths. As they stop in front of one, Jenny finds herself staring at a man she last saw mere hours ago, his dark skin contrasting with his salt and pepper hair, and his thickset muscles more obvious in a suit than his robes, with a lecherous look on his face contrasting with the stern expression she last saw him wear. "Jenny Foxx, allow me to introduce you to Judge Holness." Squidlock's spy finds a comfortable nook to wait in, whiling the hours away as the noonday sunlight grows orange, before disappearing altogether. Before Squidlock can make his move, however, he hears a car making its way up the driveway before coming to rest. The sister's husband enters the house, looking as average in real life as he did in the photographs. The man, some sort of businessman from the look of him, kisses his wife's cheek, before grabbing himself a beer and resting on the couch in front of the TV. From the way he watches the screen, it's clear he's in no danger of discovering the creature spying on him, but Squidlock realises that he now has to deal with two people, not just one. Sonata's explanation does little to calm the woman, who continues to scream in hysterics as Sonata retreats. As Sonata prowls around the exterior of the bar, loud music coming from within explaining where the name comes from, he sees a few options for entry, besides the front door. Firstly, there is a rear door, guarded by a bored looking thug who wolf whistles at Sonata as he walks past, muttering something to himself. Secondly, there is a basement entrance, though a padlock keeps it securely shut. Finally, there is an open window leading into one of the bathrooms, a quick sonar check revealing that no one is in plain sight, but there is someone in a stall. "Sounds like you're in trouble." The woman concurs. "There's some spells I could use on this mystery person you're up against - I could make them forget that you exist, for example. Or we could try behaviour modification. We'd need this person in our clutches, though." "Oh, she's reliable - a real nerd. She'd probably drool over the chance to get her hands on some unknown substance." Sapphira chuckles. "She never went all 'mad scientist' before, so I think we're safe from that. She probably won't be that happy to see me - things didn't end too well between us. But when we offer to show her some glowing green goo, she'll change her mind. Besides, no one stays angry at me for long."
He doesn't know about my powers? Vanessa was slightly relieved at the thought, "And this is how you're thanking me? I'm glad to see that the Hawking family's tradition of showing gratitutde is a knife to the back, is alive and well." She taunts him, Where is Centurion? Don't tell me he's waiting for Hammer to show up? The heiress thinks to herself, testing her bindings.
With her powers by the lack of the collar around her neck, Vanessa thinks she can bust through the cuffs around her wrists, but it's not going to be nearly as easy as she can with her full powers. "As if the Fitzgeralds are bastions of morality." The boy sneers. "There are a lot of skeletons in that closet." Looking around, the heiress sees no trace of either Hammer or Centurion.
"M-maybe so, but we've done wonders for this city." Vanessa doesn't deny it, but mostly because she didn't know about her family's deep dark secrets. "Hmph, my employee told me you had Hammer here. Is he gone already? Couldn't pay him for an extra hour?" She taunts him, hoping he'd reveal the villain's whereabouts.
Why are these clubs always so loud? He releases an exasperated sigh as he approaches Tinnitus. The padlocked basement intrigues him far more than trying to blend into the crowd of patrons. Probably just storage, but maybe I'll get lucky. He stops at the door, holds his hand next to the lock, and channels a shockwave, tuning it until the frequency is too high for even his hearing to detect, before attempting to shatter, or at least shear, the padlock with the wave of energy.
Jenny said nothing at the man's comments; but whether that was because she didn't want to blow her cover or because she couldn't argue with the validity of his observations she couldn't tell. But judging by how wet she got at the suggestion of a gangbang in the slums her body certainly had chose a side, and her rational mind raged because of it. Jenny did her best to swallow her surprise. While she hadn't known what to expect when she arrived, seeing the judge she'd met mere hours ago wouldn't have even made the list. Instantly she wondered what he was doing in this bar and in Dylan Duke's company, but she forced herself to set those concerns aside. Most assuredly those specifics would emerge as the night progressed she surmised. After all she was here to infiltrate Duke's operation; with the ultimate hope of bringing down the city's corrupt elite. If Judge Holness ended up being one of those corrupt then the sting would just be that much better. But the fear of the judge discovering her alter ego was all too real. "Your Honor, it's a pleasure to meet you." she greeted him, feigning not knowing him. Jenny didn't offer her hand to shake, but instead she removed her overcoat and let the judge have a good long look at her body before she slid into the booth next to him. She pressed her soft, voluptuous body against his side, and rested her hand high on his thigh, near his crotch.. The action was near second nature to her, and it surprised her how natural it seemed. "I do hope we'll be able to get to know each other much better over the course of the night."
"Thanks. I will call you back later." Amethyst Heart said as she put down the phone. "So, a friend of mine ca help us... we could make it so your mom would either forget we existed... or change her character." The blond explained. "But, we would have to capture her for that." The alien woman explained. "Are you okay with changing her character?" she asked. "Because making her forget, will not stop her from committing crimes." She looked at the young man.
"Hmph. What? Did your lackey tell you what Hammer's gang did?'' The fat boy raises an eyebrow. ''Craving for a taste? Hammer will be here soon, don't you worry, but I can keep you occupied in the meantime.'' Laughing, he gropes her through her dress.
Spoiler: Sonic Roll D100: 48+10=58 (Minor Success) Sonata feels a satisfying click as the padlock cracks apart. Sadly, the attempt at stealth was for naught, as the doors, with nothing to hold them shut, swing back, slamming against the walls loudly.
"Khh." Vanessa growls as his reply, but as she heard he's arriving soon. Good, hopefully Centurion heard that. I'm sure he has some technology to listen in on someone. She thinks to herself, just as the fat boy reached for her chest. "Aah!?" The heiress lets out a surprised moan, her eyes going wide. "Let go of me, you pig!" She hissed, as his chubby hand sinks onto her flesh. Even through her tight dress, he'd feel how soft, and heavy her tits were.
''Your honor, I like that.'' Holness' eyes go wide as he sees Jenny's body, marvelling in the sight, as he gives a light chuckle. Around the bar some eyes are drawn to her, but they're clearly drawn by lust, not confusion or outrage - scantily clad women are clearly not a strange sight here. ''I hope that too, Jenny, believe me.'' He slips an arm around her, and she feels something pleasantly big as she touches his thigh. ''Duke, I hope you're not trying to bribe me with a woman - even if she is...'' The older man stares into the vastness of Jenny's cleavage. ''...Delectable. If Hammer or your thugs come by my courtroom, it'll take more than a blonde to keep me from giving you life sentences. Duke chuckles, before signalling a waiter to bring three glasses filled with some sort of alcohol. ''I'm not trying to bribe you, pops. But we both know you want the Palermo's more than you want me. And I can give 'em to you.'' The judge narrows his eyes. ''And I suppose you'd do this out of civic spirit?'' Holness rolls his eyes, before Duke smirks. ''This is Century City, judge. To do any good here, you have to compromise. You have to make deals. Don't be afraid to touch Jenny, here. She's very enthusiastic about her job.''
''I...I don't know. I just don't know." The young man sighs. "I can't promise you how I'll feel at the time, but I'll do my best."
"Mmm, nice..." The boy pinches her nipple through the dress, tweaking it roughly. "Get your hand off of her, you little shit!'' Surprisingly, Vince calls out in her defence, though prior experience with the man would suggest that his motivation to defend Vanessa is perhaps less than altruistic. The boy snaps his fingers, and a thug silences Vince. ''The idiot still thinks he has a chance at making you his.''
"Nnnh!" Vanessa let out a sharp gasp as he found her nipple, her sensitive body making it so her nubs slowly grew stiff. Gently straining against the fabric of her bra, and her dress. "Khh, not like you have any chance either!" The heiress replied, blushing as she noticed her arousal growing ever so slightly. Damn it, what is wrong with me? She thinks to herself as she glares at the fat boy.
@majus "Alright, let's go." The boy nods, resolutely. One Month Later: As the water flows down her hands, T'yala studies her reflection in the bathroom mirror. T'yala? N-No... Amethyst Heart... No, I'm Faye! I'm Faye right now. The blonde chastises herself - she's been slipping up more often recently, distracted. Just the other day, she recalls with embarassment, she almost introduced herself to a hostage she'd rescued by her real name. It's just...it feels like there's something else she's supposed to remember. "Everything alright?" A feminine voice sounds beside her, and Faye turns to see the mayor beside her, fixing her makeup. "You seem a little out of it, recently. I hope everything's okay." Kizuhara gives Faye a concerned look. She's such a good friend, to be concerned. Faye thinks to herself. The blonde can't remember exactly where the two of them met - there's been so many of these damn social events over the past month, but ever since the two met, they've become close friends.
In truth Jenny was happy that the judge was not under Duke's thumb, it showed a degree of integrity. While she certainly wasn't pleased that he was negotiating with Dylan Duke, and she supposed it did show a degree of corruption on his part, it was undercut by the fact that she herself was technically under the employ of Duke. Even if it was only undercover work. Doing her 'job', she nestled into the judge, not objecting to his arm around her nor to his staring at her cleavage. She supposed in this instance it was better to have him staring at her chest instead of her face. So she subtly pressed her huge breasts together between her upper arms to emphasize her bust. The attention and lust she drew from the other bar patrons only served to fuel her growing arousal. An arousal that was amplified when her hand brushed against the veritable anaconda in the judge's pants. The young wife's pulse quickened again, and she found her hand gentle stroking the python over his pants as her attention was drawn to it. Through a considerable effort she managed to track with the conversation of the two men. The comment about compromise ringing especially true in her ears. She'd already compromised herself and her marriage in infiltrating Duke's organization; a justifiable amount of bad to serve a greater good, that was all that was required of both her and the judge. Wasn't it? Something in her gut told her 'No.' but she pushed it aside. She managed to tare her eyes away from the bulge in the man's pants long enough to look up at the judge suggestively. "Not only am I dedicated to my job, I'm very enthusiastic about serving my community Your Honor, and I'm willing to do anything to prove it."
