I don't think there ever was any thread where Chloe became a porn star in the future. Can you remember any other specific detail about it? The only thread I can remember that was set 10 years (or so) in the future was boomer97's, the one he wanted to delete. In his thread, Chloe went missing after the fire at the cabin and no one ever saw her again. Other threads taking place in the future had the common aspect of Chloe being dead.
I remember it now, Brandon saw a porn video that he thought the actress looked a lot like Chloe, but there wasn't any confirmation that it was actually her or not. The writer of the thread, boomer97, wanted to leave open to interpretation if Chloe died in the fire or decided to vanish.
hey I was wondering what happened to Coming of Age on Azure Rocks I was reading it a week ago and now it’s gone did it get deleted?
I've deleted every one of the spin-offs for At the Cabin, with the exception of Tales of Silver Lake because it has too many chapters from other authors. Coming of Age didn't have any completed path, so you didn't lose much. The reason I did this is to curb versions of the old canon for the characters before I launched my revamped version of the story, "The Azure Lion".

In the comments section of your story you wrote about your plans to delete everything. Please don't. This is one of the most popular stories on this site. It has so many interesting storyline contributed by other authors. And honestly I do not believe your other story will get more attention just because you delete the most succesfull story you created.
I enjoyed my contributions and I will see if I can save some chapters, especially ones including Hannah and/or Taylor.
I do worry for Duskford's health, but I don't think one person should have the power to just delete one of the biggest, if not THE biggest story on this website.
I never could understand what happend to you when you believed it was necessary to create a new canon. Honestly I thougt the Replacement characters were for the most part confusing... . I do not want to discuss with you about the likely reasons the classic storyline is so popular. Just because I am sure you are not interested because you feal protective for some of your characters. But you are not just on a path of destruction for this storys, maybe you are also on a path of selfdestruction. I am just saying this because you told us about your personal situation. The worst thing an author on a community site can do is destroying the works of the members of your team. That is insensitive to the others. Is this some sort of powerplay. Do you want to show everyone, that you are the strong man. Maybe you shouldn`t expect to get your personal happines from the support of others for one fiction you wrote. Many would be proud that they started a project like the cabin. I do not see why shouldn`t there be both stories on this site. The focus of the story is very different. The Core of the cabin story are Zack/Chloe/Gavin and "friends". The newer storys are more like the Ravers version of Dynasty. You should keep ist seperate. But you should keep all storys online.
As a mostly neutral observer(I have not read much of At The Cabin nor contributed to it), I disagree with the deletion with so many other contributions from other writers. However, it's also not my choice to make. The thing that irritates me the most is the disproportionate amount of hate that's now being directed towards Duskford. Expressing disappointment is fine, but to reach the point where readers are telling him to leave the site or threatening to take retaliatory actions is to me beyond the pale. As someone who deals with his own anxiety and depression on a daily basis, I know that these kinds of decisions aren't made lightly. This obviously wasn't a decision made on a whim. If you think that Duskford hasn't considered any potential drawbacks and fallout from making this decision, then you're wrong. Being aggressive, or hateful, or spiteful isn't going to change that. It's sure as hell not going to make him change his mind. Ultimately it's Duskford's decision to make as the Story Owner and people are going to have to accept whatever decision he makes. @Duskford
I read a bit of the story, back in the day, and loved it. Had no idea this was going on. Also, Duskford has been always very supportive and welcoming member of the community , it's saddens me to know he's going trough a rough time.
Thank you for the kind words, merkros and SeriousBrainDamage, I really appreciate it. I've ended up changing my mind. It doesn't solve my problems, but at least I don't have everyone mad at me and it makes sure, I hope, that no retribution falls on the story I really care about.
