Hmm... The natural disaster scenario and time travel scenario sound really great and they would be interesting to read. However and i hope you won't get mad duskford, but if you also start writing this story you risk getting overwhelmed with the writing and losing focus. I mean at the moment you have the to stories with the voting and the threesome threads on boomer97's thread and then you want to write the revised story on which you have worked so far. By the way, when are you going to post the first chapter's for the revised story?
This disaster idea was a possibility for the rework, so if it goes ahead, the revised version won't, and vice versa. Anyways, I'll complete both threesomes scenarios, and maybe do a few more one-shots before moving to the bigger project, so the focus can stay on one thing at a time.
Just to clarify the situation for me. For the two threads that you have going, once you complete the threesome scenes for every guy, you will stop writing for those threds, right? After you will do some one-shots then stop. After you do this you will start with the revised version for At the Cabin. Just one question, will you keep posting threads for the voting version with Brian King?
Yes, unless an idea pops up, I'm going no further than the threesomes, the same being true for any other one-shot that potentially comes after those. And I'll continue Brian's version too. The revised version still needs a plot, I just pitched a few possibilities so far, but I didn't have too much time to think about it over the last couple of weeks.
If you would like to do something after the threesome scenes, you could try to do a sort of one-shot epilogues. Maybe a flash forward at the end of the school year/during the summer, with potential couples being formed after the trip to the cabin and what their plans for the future are. If their are pairings, say Zack/Lisa or Zack/Victoria or Gavin/Madison, Gavin/Taylor, Gavin/Heather you could write just a one shot for the couples. Or maybe say that Zack and Victoria or Gavin and Heather/Taylor, Chloe and Kurt are going to be at the same college and they might pursue a relationship. You could keep it vague and allow the readers to believe what they want or maybe another reader could pick the story up and continue it with the gang in college. I know it will be a deviation from the original setting but its a thought.
The flash forward idea is interesting. Although, in the threesome scenario, Victoria is out for Zack after what she did, I have no idea why she was voted in the quest version. Following on my version, the pairings could be Zack with Lisa, Chloe or Hannah (strongest possibility is Lisa), and Gavin with Taylor or Heather. I came up with a few more twists, which I'll be posting shortly.
That sounds great and you're possible pairings for a possible epilogue also sound great. Hopefully you will have the time and desire to do the epilogues. I think the reason Victoria got voted is because she was Zack's original crush and people hope that maybe if they are in the same room, they will be able to talk it out and maybe they will repair their friendship and get some closure, even if they don't have sex or if they never will. If it was a clean slate, I'd vote for Victoria too, but in boomer97's universe, where the quest's scenario is set, she was changed by that scene with Brandon and Ashley, making other characters more interesting to pair up with Zack. That's why I struggled to choose the second person for Zack in my version, I only knew it was going to be Lisa and another girl. Maybe that's also why I decided to have so many twists, a lot of different scenes can be covered now.
Just a question. When you say "my version" are you talking about the threesome scene (version) or about you're revised version of the story? Also i really like darkfriday1408's suggestion about a flash forward epilogue for the characters. I hope you will have the time and will to do it, and i hope that you won't change the story for the threesome version "Yet two more twists". I think its good as it is and there could be some interesting developments.
When I say 'my version', I'm referring to the alternate of the quest one, the one where I picked the characters' destinations.

Vain wrote Zack with Ashley a few times on his two storylines, and Yarkoz did it as well near that same scene that featured Gavin/Victoria. I did Zack/Lisa a couple of times, once during my old main thread and once in Azure Rocks Chronicles, and I'll do it again in the thread I'm currently working on. Gavin with Ashley, I think Vain did it, and henrytemp wrote a brief scene between Gavin and Lisa, but they didn't have sex.
Hey, I have a suggestion about how to integrate Gavin better if you are still developing the new version. Maybe you could make Gavin and Ashley twins, and you won't have to add a new character to the story and it could open up some interesting stories. And you don't have to change is physical appearance.

True and with sisters like Hannah and Ashley, he could be a bit more confident from the start. Not as confident like Zack or confident bordering on arrogance like Brandon, but with a bit more spine. It could allow Gavin to talk with girls like Victoria, Chloe or even Taylor with more confidence.
Imagining a situation where the Woodsen (or Westher) kids invited their boyfriend/girlfriend to a family dinner. Their parents, Ashley with Brandon, Gavin with one of the girls and Hannah just trying not to laugh at the whole thing. One thing I wondered once was how Hannah would act with a brother. Would she tease him mercilessly? Would she act more or less like Taylor does regarding Zack? Would they already have fucked by the time the story starts, lol?
