When I'm editing a chapter, sometimes the site would cut off part of my paragraph and I can't scroll down to it.
Thank you for your post! I'd imagine it's due to a special character, like an emoticon. These cannot be saved in the database. Let me know if that's it.
Can you send me the URL to the chapter and the content? You can also send me this via a private message.
Does it cut off the content (and thus delete it) when you save the chapter? Or is the content still there but you just can't reach it while editing?
The content is still there, I just can't see it. I used Ctrl + A to select the entire thing and paste it on a Google Doc. Still there.
Is it only one chapter? Are there images in the chapter? Is there a difference if you change the zoom? Do you use a browser add-on that affects text fields? (E.g. Grammarly) Does the same happen when you use another browser?
Nevermind, I think it fixed itself. I just need to avoid exiting and re-entering the editing interface too many times.
So, I posted the first chapter of a story for approval by a mod, and it said at the bottom "Approve this chapter", and I may have accidentally clicked on it. Now it's saying that the Introduction chapter was posted, but not the story itself... ... ...HUH?
I recently attempted to write a new story, it was my first with uploaded pictures. When i added the picture and tried to save to draft, the whole thing failed and now it says bad gateway any time i try and access it. It says host error. Will this resolve on its own? Go to the bottom and click the three dotes to edit the story across from the like button and the comment button. Once on the edit story page you will see the rules, guidlines, and variables to the right and under them will be the option to delete the story written in red. Hope this helps.
