I've been trying very hard to focus on finishing one thread without branching. However, I reached a very natural branching point and wasn't sure how to proceed, so, because I like to make things as complicated as humanly possible for myself (I don't really - my brain is a problem), I wrote four possible branches and published them all at the same time. I'm going to combine the number of likes, comments, and votes (here) to determine which path I will continue immediately. Once I get a bit deeper into that thread I'll go back and work on the second most engaged post. Also, I'll work on cleaning up the typos. I was hurrying to get all four of these chapters finished before the weekend, so they're worse than usual.
This poll is closing and I think the results are mostly clear. Based on engagement (comments, likes, votes). I also added the chapter views. Not surprisingly, the chapters with the most views also had the most engagement : Tabitha and Kennedy: 19 (138) Ana Marie and Alfie: 14 (121) Mr. Sinclair (and possibly Billy): 9 (93) Marcus: 5 (88) Ana Marie doing so well was a bit of a surprise, but that's good. The top three are the branches I have most fleshed out in my mind. I have a rough idea of where I could go with Marcus, but it's a kink I don't typically enjoy writing. I'll work through the Tabita/Kennedy branch through day 14 or 13. At that point I might circle back to Ana. Of course, I'm always happy to have others jump in and take these characters in a completely different direction (or feel free to add new neighbors, a landlord, or apartment maintenance!). You don't need to build off of the character chapters I built after this one. Maybe you have a different personality in mind for those names or something else happens in her apartment with them.
