What themes are you writing about?

So far I've always wrote Transformation and Hypnosis fiction, but recently I've been noticing particular themes cropping up.

In particular I have two stories written recently that have flower themes. And a couple stories involving mad scientists.

What themes do you find yourself going back to? Or reusing?

In my own stories, I often return to the theme of sexual connections subverting or transforming outwardly conventional social relationships.

I like the whole 'Mind Control' or 'Changing of Social Norms' stuff because it leads to very easy sex scenes (Although the plot can be pretty boring because of it) currently however i have taken a liking to the whole 'Mage/Fantasy' Theme and granted these two aren't mutually exclusive, my current story does use some kind of Mind Control after all, but i think it's just setting a core theme...

But yeah, i guess my themes are mostly Mind Control and Overpowered Maincharacters, i like my stories convenient.

I need to get back to that story again. I'm expecting to pick Ye Olde Ren Faire back when Spring or Summer hits.

I get into incest more often than I expect. Its nothing I go looking for specifically, but I find that a few good stories I've read had it. Maybe its because the first erotic story I read was Donna's Delight, but they were step siblings.

The themes I find myself coming back to over and over is Love. Not on a physical level, which would include most all of Chyoa, but the emotional connection that comes with physical intimacy.

Now what the first author is talking about is not themes precisely but Liet Motifs and in those I repeatedly have found my fiction featuring islands, slavery (In particular the ENDING of it), and the military.
