Hello, I have some questions regarding the underage rule. This one is unlikely, but I am going to ask anyway to cover my bases: Can erotic pregnancies, including hyper, with children be against rule 1? Because they would technically include the unborn children in an erotic context, for example the pregnancy arousing the expectant person or somebody else. If not, then would I violate rule one by depicting a normal childbirth? Because if being naked is always erotic (thanks to the rules), then every kind of birth scene, in which its not specified that the character being birthed is not naked(for example, in an eggshell), would depict a newborn child in an erotic context. Second, would rapid pregnancy, including making it all kinds of overdue, violate Rule 1? Because it could be seen as a tranformation for the sake of transformation for the child, rather than the mother, which would violate rule one. And finally, would an orgasmic birth of children, violate rule one? The same as the normal birth, but being even more erotic. As a side note, do all of the anwers apply to animals, ie. some person birthing a litter of feral cats (without the sex)? If not, what are the differences? That's all and thank you for your patience.
What is meant by erotic pregnancy? Pregnancies that take more or less time than what you would expect are no problem. If it is about the pregnancy, it should be fine but might depend on how it is depicted. Specifically describing that a character feels the unborn while penetrating the pregnant character, or similar stuff will violate the rule. Writing about a normal childbirth that isn't depicted as arousing is fine. The necessary nudity is permissible as long as it isn't described and ends within a reasonable time. (E.g. by ending the scene.) What do you mean exactly? Yes. No. Animals are covered by Rule 2.
Something like the example I gave, which was answered. Something like the baby growing lots of months, if not years in a short time. But, by the anwers I get, that's a yes. Yes, but would Rule 2 be violated by something like that?
This doesn't violate the rules. Yes. E.g.: If the birthed creature (without humanoid features) doesn't pass the Harkness test, physical contact aimed at arousal violates Rule 2. Nudity, on the other hand, is not an issue.
While this thread is up, I have a couple of questions too, since I worry about how ironclad this rule is sometimes. It seems like common sense but I figure I should ask anyway: It's not violating the rules for children to appear in the story, whether or not they're the result of in-story erotic activities, as long as there's nothing indecent happening while they're in the scene, right? So, a character who becomes pregnant can be be shown holding a baby or looking after a toddler later on? I have several "epilogue" chapters in my main story where the main character or several side characters is described taking care of a baby as a result of what happened in earlier chapters.
