I just want to talk about how it seems there are some combinations of fetishes that are extremely rare despite a similar idea being done very commonly and only differing by some variable. One good example of this I think is males becoming futa. There's plenty of stories where women grow a cock 'n' balls, but I don't think I've ever seen a story where a man gains a vag 'n' boobs but retains their cock. Is it just that there's no audience? Are these stories just counter to peoples common fantasies? I think those are quite different things.

While anything can become a fetish, there needs to be a critical mass of *writers* with that fetish to make it stick on CHYOA. I can't say I've ever seen that kink before, and I've spent an unhealthy amount of time on the internet. But the folks who like it are prolific writers, so those stories popped on the front page a lot.
