Say i got a question, how come after you adopt a story, you can't edit the story itself? I can't so much as change the variables or upload a picture on the ones I adopted

 

This used to be the case, but you are no longer made "owner" of stories you "adopt", just editor...

 

If im an editor, why can't I edit the story, to Change a few things and add a picture. Do I really need to be an owner to do that?

 

Yes. Only the owner of the story can edit the story itself. This is a safety feature to prevent editors from changing the submission guidelines, or deleting the story by accident or because their angry about something the owner did...

 

Okay, I can see the logic in that, but I dont know how to delete my own stories, never mind someone else's. At best I just want to add some pictures to them, at worst, I just want to expand Uncanny Sex Man story into a Marvel Erotic. Keeping the original branch while adding more threads for me or others in fact to focus on other marvel characters.

Is there any way I can become an owner to at least accomplish this?
