Yep... This was why I didn't think it was completely worth it... But faithless Yulia is almost better for our party but is a little more risky for survival.

 

I’ll reverse my earlier opinion on doing anything to the smith or the assembly line: Our relationship with Dahlia can be best described as “It’s complicated” but I said fight the demons here under the assumption the Demon of Gifts was an enemy only held back by the invitation for Yulia. After this, it seems like Dahlia won’t attack us as long as we don’t antagonize her.
As for the possibility of using the Demon of Gifts’ offer for Cherchiel, Isalia, and Goma, I don’t think it’s worth the risk.
I don’t know if we should accept anything else, should we head back to base to prepare to fight Levateinn?

 

ah that complicates things, I don't think we can reasonably expect to get the information spell in that case. Not until we want to turn Yulia into a walking fetish. As such I think we should abstain from getting another spell from Dahlia.

And it should go without saying, but yeah we won't get any spells for Cherchiel, Isalia and Gohma

Also hot damn, double offensive spells? That's insane.

From my understanding we are now unable to energize or heal Yulia. The later might be an issue, but then again, we very rarely use heal in the first place, so all in all I view this as a massive upgrade.

Oh, and also debuffs like undermine are support spells as well, no? So this isn't even a pure negative

Well, let's do a bit of housekeeping, Yulia should learn the upgraded unlock spell

I also think enough time has passed , so I'd like for Isalia to give the ring back to Yulia

That notion about Alide is concerning as well, not much we can do about it beyond keeping it in mind.


Well then, I'd say it's finally time we head back towards Levatainn's domain, I'd suggest we take the pleasure path once more and since it's was confirmed that our orgasm is the key, Goma can just order one of the girls to orgasm via puppet,or all of them, we can rest after all.

 

You know... I completely forgot that unaffected by support spells includes debuffs... It technically wasn't supposed to, but since it was my bad for not thinking of and therefore specifically excluding them... Yeah I guess she's immune to debuffs, buffs and heals. It does also mean status effects might be a bigger problem for her in the future, since Cure won't effect her, but items still work to the same effect. It was supposed to be a trade off spell, get rid of her greatest strength, but bolster a place where she's weaker, but kind of seems like this ended up just being mostly good... Oops?

 

Oh yeah, If I read the rules correctly status effects aren't covered by rest, right? So if Yulia would end up getting poisoned we would have to use an antidote

 

Yeah. Rest would heal some status effects, but status effect recovery items and methods from other sources will end up being more important now since she can't just cure herself. It should be noted, a last minute change to the status effect was that initially she couldn't cast support spells at all or take effect from them, but I thought that was way too harsh.

 

Alright, so I agree that more fetishes are not good right now. Isalia should keep the ring on until after resting then giving it to Yulia, remember time is different and only a short while has passed for them.

Return through the pleasure route, if needed just help each other orgasm but using Puppet may not be a good idea. Everyone get some rest since Harvester is gone there is no worry and gives time for the ring to work if it is doing something. After this, ring back to Yulia and we prepare to get Cherchiel's stuff back.

 

I'll second having Isalia keep the ring for now, and not using puppet to get someone to orgasm. Don't forget, the last time we did something like that Isalia got a fetish.

 

I mean, gaining fetishes seems to unlock some pertty amazing skills lol

But fine, I guess someone has to orgasm the old fashioned way then.

 

I feel I should note... Isalia didn't gain a new fetish. You and in a sense she basically became aware of one she already had.

I'm not saying using puppet for sexual things won't cause or awaken more fetishes, but that is not in fact what happened in that specific scenario.

Okay, tactics: Let’s not get close at first. While Goma blows the horn for Cherchiel, Isalia, and herself, Yulia should try to hit Muna with an undermine to check that it doesn’t get deflected. If she moves or casts spells, then Cherchiel can charge in with Goma as backup while Isalia supports with ranged attacks. Yulia should use the Lightning Strike spell to raise expertise.
After we beat her, I suggest we cremate Muma’s body to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
After that, I think we should check in with Lemiel. At this point, she’s probably the only one on this floor we can ask for help with Isalia’s condition, and she can hopefully give us info on Levateinn’s fighting style.

 

I have something better but need everyones help. What command can Goma give to let Muma join us in the bathhouse for a chat...

 

Well. that was just all around pleasant wasn't it?

I'm not sure warider, getting some major pet sematary vibes with this plan. This isn't Muma anymore and dragging this out any longer then it needs be will put a huge strain on Yulia's already pretty fragile mental state. I really think we need to end this quick.

I'm not expecting this fight to give us much trouble, this is a mental attack with the intent of breaking our spirit


Ah, using Undermine to determine if an enemy has reflect on it, that is quite clever.

Still, we should energize our group, sans Yulia. we have plenty of Mana to spend after all.


We actually can just level up Lightning strike outside of combat(I completely forgot about it XD) so I propose our tried and true Blizzard and Icicle combo for this fight

Oh and Goma, it's finally time to use puppet, hit the corpse and restrain her.

At the very least we should be able to finish this without much suffering for Muma


I agree with going back to Lemiel after this, it's probably not a good idea to press forward in this highly agitated state. We should also take another rest.

I see this as an opportunity to put Muma to rest as well as everyone calm themselves in a strange group therapy session... But i agree maybe it's a long shot. Reanimation is tricky, and there is a chance Muma is there in some fashion and could talk with everyone.

In many versions of the undead, healing magic is actually very effective against them. I suggest Yulia cast cure then heal to cleanse Muma. Puppet could be used like "Stand still for 1 hour".

 

I like the cure and heal plan better but I am still reluctant. Mostly because Levateinn is known for her mindgames



Well, the door is called Eternal reward, so I don't think Zombie Muma will actually be able to hurt the group physically

But then again this might very well be integral to Yulia's development. We either destroy Muma or give her peace.

Alright, it's a gamble but I consent to the cure and heal plan. Goma will have to hold her down with Puppet and Isalia and Cherchiel will still have to be wary in case she attacks.

If Cure and heal fails swap to the initial battle plan as outlined before.

 

I’ll also agree with the healing magic plan, if we can get it to work. That said, I’m uncertain if Puppet will even work on this reanimated Muna. If her body is being controlled by someone else, that spell may be able to override anything we order with Puppet.
Also, part of why I want to use lightning is Blizzard was first used against us in the fight where Muna died, so I’d rather not dredge up that memory more than is already happening.

About the revealed Status Effect (Read this preferably after you've read the chapter): I had misgivings about this. It needed to be a secret what was happening, but I didn't want to potentially just kill a character out of nowhere and I struggled with how to handle it. There were aside from Lemiel a number of ways this status effect could be revealed and thereby give you the option to prevent the character from dying, but I knew that if that didn't happen, there wasn't really much way to not make the death feel like it came out of nowhere, so I am very glad you guys did indeed end up deciding to go to Lemiel and there is now no chance this will end up blindsiding you and Lemiel is specifically one of the better options for learning about this... (The other people who could have informed you about what was happening would have very different ideas of how to handle it that would have had more negative repercussions then the relatively minor downsides of Lemiel's suggestions.

Also I suppose I should just add... Goma doesn't have any kind of status effect for her own pregnancy, because her pregnancy being relatively normal, it's progressing at a relatively normal rate and as such has no mechanical effect on her health or ability at this time.

 

Glad Muma’s situation was resolved so easily. Now we can lay her back to rest with some dignity, likely by cremation at this point.
As for Isalia, this is unfortunate to say the least, but I’m glad we caught it when we did. As for the choice, I’m leaning towards a full removal. Between Lemiel's knowledge of this parasite and Yulia’s healing magical and medical experience, I think we can safely manage it.
Addressing Yulia directly: You’ve had a difficult time since entering the tower, especially recently. I can’t blame you for feeling lost and frustrated. But I just want to remind you that you are more than the changes that the tower has inflicted on you. Your knowledge of healing magic let us free Muna from Levateinn’s control in a peaceful way. And even with Isalia’s condition, you have your healing magic and more than that, if I recall correctly, you’ve helped deliver babies before. While this situation obviously has a cruel twist on that, that experience should help you get through this. The things you learned for your faith, and the things you’ve done, have meaning.

 

Just one thing after the other, is it?

I mulled it over quite a bit, but I ultimately agree that getting it out now is preferrable.

The group is currently in a very vulnerable situation. Worst case scenario both Isalia and Goma go into labors while we fight Levatainn while Cherchiel is still naked.

Well, I doubt we have to worry about Goam giving birth anytime soon, but Goblin's do have a much shorter pregnancy then humans, altough google can't decide how long it exactly takes. Actually why the fuck don't we jus ask Goma?

I assume one rest means one day passed inside the tower


Once this is all done we probably should ask Lamiel if she can take care of Muma and bury her someplace not demonic
