A horrible, terrifying creature, half-snake and half-demon, bursts from the earth. It slithers silently towards Julia, gripping it's staff authoritatively. "He attacks."

It was a question of after I beat her, which I will, how to word the contract specifically to prevent her from making any loopholes.

"Marrella!"



She yelled the words out quickly as the brute made it's advance, only for something to rupture underneath the surface at a lightning fast pace, almost swimming through the ground, but peering off the side. Magella, itself didn't negate the attack but-

"Magella is much more cunning than it appears. Even residing beneath the earth, it still schemes. In otherwords, I can send yet another trap card to the graveyard. And deep beneath the surface, it plots."



"The spiritual swords of revealing light enter the graveyard and during my opponent's turn I can banish them to prevent my opponent's monster from attacking directly."

 

"I loved it!" Samir beams, echoing Felicia's feelings.

"Sure. I'll walk you there?" He offers, extending an arm as he stands up from the stadium-style seat.

Adam feels like he puts on a convincing act, not that playing unconscious is particularly hard.

A trio of golden, translucent blades blocks the Doomking's path, preventing the lamia from reaching Julia. "That only works once.~" Yoko taunts, her voice lilting. "I hope you have a plan to actually riposte, mortal.~ Go ahead. Try."

Slowly, Adam feels his pockets to try and figure out if they've taken his phone and deck, then rolls to the side as they take a turn so that the door is behind him, pulling the handle slowly to see if it's locked, though not enough to open it if it isn't.

 

(I'll destiny draw. Let me know if you want me to revise this but, since hasn't drawn yet, I'm assuming she has no negates yet and if you don't want destiny draw used this way I can reedit)

Julia was still wary about her way to turn this battle around, but as her turn began, she didn't look too worried just yet. Her fingers made contact with the card, but she wasn't looking at it, instead just staring directly at Yoko as it enveloped into a blackness.


"Allure of Darkness."

Without looking at the card the shadowy cloud pulled the field as she drew two more cards. The blackness swirled into a massive heavy wind and mist, as she drew her next cards without looking.


"I activate the quick play spell, Twin Twisters, to destroy zombie world and your continuous trap. by discarding Frightfur Jar."


The card had been bricked in her hands unable to draw the other cards she needed to synergize with it....however, it's graveyard effect.... "And now that this card has hit the graveyard, it halves doomkings attack down to 1400. But that's not all-

Adam's ruse is discovered as a bump ruins his attempt at methodical, cautious movement, and he finds the handle locked.
"He's awake." An unfamiliar woman's voice, a contralto, comments from beside the young man.

"Good. We're almost there." He recognizes Merneith's voice coming from somewhere in front of him, meaning that Adam is in the back seat of the car.

 

Felicia takes his arm as they walk back to the dorm, "Uh, thanks, for tonight. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would." She said with a slight blush.

 

[Julia is using both Destiny and Sorceress here since Destiny alone still gives her a bad draw.]

A pair of violent, whirling tornados tear through the once-serene glade, scattering the body parts of the undead who had been steadily unearthing themselves. Simply remaining standing through the storm is a difficult feat. "Damn it! One more turn and they were going to grab you!" Yoko actually seems disappointed, but it doesn't last long.

Frightfur Jar Toy Vendor weakly shoots capsule after capsule at the Doomking, distracting the lamia. Julia's kitsune opponent giggles at the sight.

[She doesn't respond, so go ahead.]

 

"I'm happy to exceed your expectations, Felicia." Samir smiles, taking it as a compliment. The walk to the Obelisk Blue dorms is faster with the city streets growing clearer of people. Only a few minutes have passed, and they can already see the campus. "I had a good time too." After a few more steps, he asks. "Do you want a second date, then?" The Egyptian watches her as they travel along the concrete sidewalk, waiting for her answer.

 

"Mm... I suppose we could." Felicia nods at the question of a second date, "That is, assuming we don't get swamped with schoolwork." She giggles, looking forward, while Samir watched her. Unaware that he's been staring at her jiggling breasts as they made their way back to the dorms.

 

"How does a week or two from now sound? We can figure out the details later." He asks, not taking his eyes off Felicia.

The pair arrive outside of the Obelisk Blue dorms, where Samir looks nervous for the first time all night. "You know...we don't have to call it night yet if you don't want to." He suggests, his red eyes looking into Felicia's own pupils.

 

"Throughout time, the history and the planet shifts. And the Palezoics can return to their natural element through the power of the Wetlands."



As she played it a massive downpour of rain began to accompany an overgrowth of grass began to flow as she created it.

"With zombie world destroyed, the Palezoics return to being aqua type creatures and in turn, being level 2 meants their 1200 attack becomes 2400 each."

As the grass began to continue to crow a wild shift and change as something lurched out pulling the weakened Doomking down into the grass. The fossilized creatures had remerged, but faster, and even more feral and vicious than before. They couldn't be properly scene in the tall grass, but their bodies were much less hardened, as if having reverted to ancestral forms from thousands of years ago before becoming fossilized.


"...as part of a chain, the Paleozics can special summon themselves to the field, and now their attack becomes 2400. Of course, they also retain their immunity to monster effects. Canadia devours Doomking and Madella returns to make it's strike...."

She made the gesture for it to target directly at Yoko if she couldn't stop it. The monster couldn't be seen directly. Just the sudden fast movement and shifting of the grass as it snaked it's way towards her ready to strike.

 

"Sure, that sounds good." Felicia replied, while Samir continued watching her as they walked. Soon he'd manage to catch a slight glimpse of the lacy black bra she had underneath, as her sleeveless white blouse turns somewhat transparent under the right light.

Once they reached the dorm, Felicia takes note of how nervous he was. Followed by his suggestion, "O-oh, uh, sorry, today's class left me a bit... exhausted already. Uhm... maybe next time, okay?" She replies, blushing as they stare at each other. Felicia decides to lean in, planting a kiss on his cheek. "See you next time." She said, before running inside, rushing toward her room as her heart starts pounding in her chest.

 

Marrella jumps from the water-laden earth, tearing a chunk of flesh and fur from Yoko's leg before the ancient creature returns to hiding in the field. Canadia, having torn Balerdroch apart, bashes it's tail against the fox-woman's other leg, forcing her to kneel in the mud. "Is that it?" The Mayakashi taunts. Her mask still smiles, or is it now a grimace?

This put her at more of an advantage, but the duel wasn’t a look yet, by any means. Still…Julia could at least protect her next Palezoic in the back row with false trap, so she should be able to stay safe for at least another turn.

“I end my turn and discard the rest of my hand to the graveyard…just hope that’s not where I want them to be.” She made an idle comment as she threw the rest of her cards away due to allure of darkness’s cost and left the next round start.

 

Samir smiles at her happily, his spirits lifted. "See you." He waves goodbye, leaving for his own dorm.

Felicia dashes through the lobby and hallway, ignoring the stares of other students as she runs straight for her flat. She bursts through the door, quickly shutting it behind her. Moments later, she hears an unfamiliar woman call out from the other side of the door. "Are you okay?"

 

"Phew." Letting out a sigh as she's back in her room, Felicia's face turns red. Ahhhhh! I hope I didn't lead him on or something! She screams in her head, taking a few deep breaths to calm herself. Until she heard the unfamiliar voice, "Huh, who? Ah, sorry, I'm alright." She replies, deciding to have a peek at who it was.

 

Merde. Adam tries to think of a better way out of this, comes up with nothing, and sighs. Here goes nothing... Shifting so that his back lies against the leather of the seat cover, Adam kicks out with one of his toned legs in the direction of unknown woman, before shifting back to try and get his cuffed hands out from under his legs and to his front.
