On one hand, I legit like it. It's genuinely good, and funny as well. It's even voice acted. On the other hand, I just feel this existential pain as if I've just become Doug Walker. Link btw
I had about 20 pages of a draft idea together once, (not erotic) based on an Undead creature that killed John Franklin's crew, then Dan Simmons released "The Terror". Gutted. I mean mine was a bit different in that the thing was now causing chaos again throughout present day Canada. I'd almost certainly never have gotten round to finishing it, but Fuck... And yeah - he wrote my story better than me.
Tarintino has said in interviews in not so many words that his career is built on the inverse of this and why there are so many "homages" in his movies. He'd often watch films and imagine the movie he wanted to watch.
