For Queen And Country! (System & Character Creation)

    Question: As a Wizard do I start with a spellbook, or do I have to buy one?

    So far I plan to start with:
    Wizard's Kit - 21 gp, includes a backpack, a bedroll, a belt pouch, a flint and steel, ink, an inkpen, an iron pot, a mess kit, soap, a spell component pouch, torches (10), trail rations (5 days), and a waterskin.
    Paper (10 Sheets) - 40 sp total
    2 Parchements - 4 sp total
    Sealing Wax - 1 gp
    Scroll Case - 1 gp
    Book Lariat - 3 sp
    Adventurer's Sash - 20 gp
    Bandolier - 5 sp

    Not sure about the last 2 items. Total so far: 48 gp, 2 sp. A spellbook would be another 15 gp, getting me pretty close to the starting 70 gp a Wizard has.

    Starting Spells (See Spellbooks below): A wizard begins play with a spellbook containing all 0-level wizard spells (except those from his opposed schools, if any; see Arcane Schools) plus three 1st-level spells of his choice. The wizard also selects a number of additional 1st-level spells equal to his Intelligence modifier to add to the spellbook.

    So that gives me...
    Average wealth for a cavalier is 175 GP.
    Combat-Trained Horse (free, class perk).
    Bit and bridle (2 GP)
    Riding Saddle (10 GP)
    Saddlebags (4 GP)
    Lucerne Hammer (15 GP)
    Suit of Scale Mail (50 GP)
    Locking Gauntlet (8 GP, replaces right hand gauntlet)
    Bedroll & Blanket (6 SP)
    15 Wandermeal rations (15 cp)
    2 Waterskins (1 water, 1 Applejack, 2 GP for the waterskins + 5 SP for the booze)
    Traveller's Outfit (free)
    Scarf (Dark blue, wool, 5 sp)
    Backpack (2 GP)
    Lamp (1 sp)
    3 Hours of Lamp oil (???)
    So that's 74 GP left over, plus some amount of silver/copper coins (not sure how they convert). Anything else I need to buy?

    If so, having let dice decide absolutely everything, my character would look something like this:
    Name: Damar
    Race: Skinwalker
    Sex: Male
    Class: Barbarian.
    STR: +2 (+4 in bestial form)
    DEX:+0
    CON:+2
    INT:-4
    WIS:+0
    CHA:-1
    APP:+3

    Height: 5ft 0in
    Weight:250 lbs
    Transformed Height:5ft 11in
    Transformed Weight: 240 lbs.
    (He gets taller, but he also somehow gets lighter.)

    Let me know if I did anything wrong there.
    He's a short, overweight barbarian with no social skills, and he's dumber than a bag of hammers, but no one can deny that he's dead sexy. This is what happens when you let the dice pick your height and weight.

    I dont think with this system you can have a -4 in something and you have like 5 points still to put into stats so you arent just... comic relief xD

    Then again im dumb as a bag of hammers so dont take my word for anything.

    I only got a -2. but the racial effects dragged me down further.
    Yes, I think I will change his height and weight a bit, this is ever so slightly too goofy.
    I can put more points into my stats? cool! I know exactly what to do, one sec.

    And for my equipment I will go with:
    starting at 105 gp.
    scale mail: -50gp
    longsword: -15gp
    shield, heavy steel: -20gp
    10 wandermeal rations: -1gp
    1 lap dog: -15gp
    leaving me with 4gp.
    the dog is a schnauzer. His name is Magnus. He rides in Damar's backpack.

    Now, this is kind of a dumb question, but: what's the currency conversion rates for D&D land?
    Also, how much sex is there in this game? This has no impact on whether or not I'm playing, I'd just like to know.

    The most common coin is the gold piece (gp). A gold piece is worth 10 silver pieces (sp). Each silver piece is worth 10 copper pieces (cp). In addition to copper, silver, and gold coins, there are also platinum pieces (pp), which are each worth 10 gp.

    The standard coin weighs about a third of an ounce (50 to the pound)

    I assume.

    As for question numero dos, im clueless.

    History:
    Keira Slade was born to a pair of nomadic, desert dwelling parents and had a normal childhood until the age of 6 when both her and her mother were captured by a company of male slavers of mixed races. For years Keria was sold in slave circles and even had body altering experiments done on her at several points giving her a little something "extra" she would not have had normally. During one of the sales Keria was to be a part of a Half-orc Female Monk by the name of Kim Anderas incapacitated the entire slaver company taking several bad wounds in the process. She managed to release all the slaves and fled with a 19 year old Keria to her desert home. Keria begged the half-orc to teach her how to fight so she would have the strength to free other slaves and find her mother. Three years later Kim finally succumbed to the long lasting effects of her wounds and Keria buried her master and lover cursing herself for not being able to save the woman. Soon after she struck out on her own to become stronger, carry on her master's dreams, and find her mother.

    Typically, 1 for 1st level and one or more based on ones class. (Also, Radio? There will be no grappling, it will not occur, because the grappling rules are a nightmare. If it is forced to occur it will be handled by simple opposed STR VS DEX checks. As a matter of fact, strike the entire CMB/CMD section from your sheet, that whole part of the rules is being discarded as overly complex.)

    So I'll take...
    Either Dangerous Tail (Lizardfolk only, lets me attack with my tail) or another combat feat (free feat).
    Either Distracting Charge (allies get +2 to hit opponent's I've charged in that turn) or Scarred Legion (+2 to Intimidate) (Cavalier Teamwork Feat)

    For one thing, this is occurring on CHYOA, what do you think?

    For another, there are five new sex related skills, most based off of APP,

    Sex Appeal:
    An interaction skill that can substitute for Bluff, Diplomacy, and Intimidation: but only if the interaction is made in a sexual context or somehow features sexual contact. (Example: "Hey, I know your probably lonely standing guard at the entrance to this dungeon, mister ogre. If you agree to let me and my friends through I'll suck you off before we head inside...")

    Knowledge: Sexual:
    Again, can substitute for any knowledge, but only as it could relate to sex. For example, could take the place of Architecture and Engineering, as it relates to the high temple of the Goddess of Lust, but not for golems (Unless they were sex golems...)
    Example 2: could substitute for Knowledge: Nobility and Royalty: to know who's fucking whom at court, but not how Sir Barton Grunwald earned his knighthood... (Unless it was because he was screwing the Queen... [Though that's unlikely.])
    This one's based on INT.

    Performance: Erotica:
    This is the performance category for all erotic arts, from erotic dance to erotic poetry. Like most of the others here it overlaps with existing skills somewhat, and like most of the others the skills it can substitute for can also substitute for it in thier specific areas. For example you could use "Performance: Poetry", to read or write erotic poetry, but not to perform erotic dance, where "Performance: Erotica" can do both, but not write an epic ballad or dance a waltz.
    This skill can be based on CHA OR APP.

    Profession: Prostitute:
    This is the skill of having sex with other people for money. This skill is used both for High End "Companions" and common street walkers; the main difference is how many other skills the prostitute can call on to ply her trade in greater levels of comfort and sophistication.

    Sexual Technique:
    And here we come to the skill of actually having sex with other people itself. The more ranks you put in it the better you are at pleasing your partner, but conversely the harder it is to please YOU. (Every two ranks you put into this skill increases the DC to satisfy you with it by one. [DC starts at 10.]) It also is almost the only skill which you can gain ranks in "Free". For every 20 individuals (Or fraction there of) you have voluntarily had sexual relations with you gain one "free" rank of this skill. (Yes, that also means if you have no ranks in it your character starts out as a virgin.)
    EDIT: important note, no matter how much of a slut puppy you are, you still are restricted to one rank per level, though if your a level six virgin and wind up being given a harem of 120 courtesans by the Jade Emperor if you manage to fuck them all without killing yourself you will now be the proud possessor of 6 Ranks of sexual technique: and now require a successful DC 13 Sexual Technique check from your partner to have a satisfying experience...
