Hey, noob author here, I have a drawing I made of the capital of my story, but it's not showing up in the chapter no matter how I try to make it. I tried putting the picture in google drive, on Deviantart, and on Imgur, nothing seems to work... can anyone help me? I'm doing the exclamation mark, square brackets, and normal brackets with the link. I've tried with and without anything in the square brackets, and I've tried both the sta.sh and a public imgur post... is there something I don't know about for image requirements? I hope this is the right place to ask, sorry for the inconvenience.
You need to use the direct link to the image. Using the URL that links to the page that has the image in it doesn't work.
Ah, thanks! It works now! I don't know why I didn't try right-clicking on the image before. Big oof on my part.
