I prefer a story not be a hundred chapters deep, but in this case the problem is that most of the chapters have no fucking, which in an adult-oriented choose your own adventure story can get...a little tedious.
I can and have done deep stories before - Whore of the Dragon and Squirtle each took four entries to review. It's just exhausting to read that many chapters; sex can at least liven things up a little.
That's definitely an issue, especially with stories who sit in Masochist Mode for a while. It does say in the rules to put a bookmark on Marcie and Gina's segment to get notified but not many do that. A solution might be that I PM the author when a MM has been added. That's probably a bit less akward then when the reviewers do it themselves lol As for the depth, this is why I put a clear 50 chapter limit in, with the caveat of a follow up if the author requests it. I need to have a decent gap between a multi parter so it doesn't get stale And yeah, I think character recognition should be the least of your concerns. The vast majority of the featured authors have no idea who Marcie and Gina are lol Or branch out and do another story. Getting fixated like this might hold you back Incidentally, there as been an absolutely drought of new masochist mode applicants since the rule change(for fucks sake) So maybe I change it back.
