I suppose I'll politely request access as well. Made an account just for this, since honestly guest browsing has always sufficed for reading the occasional story, but I suppose things could be worse than just having to make an account.

Hate to add to the pile but may I also have access? Long time reader but have never logged on to the forums before so it shows my account as made yesterday.
My account is pretty old, and I basically never use the site without being logged in so I can benefit from Dark Mode and the Story Maps to keep track of progress (on that note, totally needs Dark Mode in the Story Map and for this forum, basically only ever come here for major bug troubleshooting cause it's not worth the eye strain otherwise). Anyway, that said, the motivation to even attempt to read the body text of stories to see if I'm effected by the issues or not is pretty low with the prospect that words, categories (both old or new), and/or whole stories might potentially be hidden from me now. Maybe add me to the access checking pile, too? Still, I don't mind the changes too much once the site is in a stable state again. For instance, always didn't care for "incest" being the internet slang term for that kind of content with it being much broader than the legal definition of the word typically specifying consanguinity and direct penetrative sex. "Family" captures the thematics better anyway, and works for lesbian, step, and distant relatives type content without getting into any technicalities (not really a true issue on chyoa, but on other sites tagging accurately can get pretty noodly on such matters). ...Plus it's kinda funny and possibly even kinkier to use more wholesome terms in an erotic writing context.
One of the effects of this change is that people won't be able to use scrappers to get all chyoa stories. I guess ~70% of my crude chapters won't pollute future NSFW text-generating AI models. _________ Also, I am pessimistic and think that harsher changes will be necessary sooner or later.
