Has anyone from this thread actually gotten anything from asking for this magical "access"? Just curious. I'm not seeking it myself, but I'm mildly amused by the thread and curious whether it's accomplishing anything.
As someone who had an account for a few years but had never verified it until yesterday, may I please also have access? Much appreciated.
Not sure, but what's the harm in trying. I had a story I liked that I wanted to read again and it's hidden now so why not try to get it a month sooner?
And with just one change, the site lost its appeal to me and probably many more. Unfortunately, I totally get why it was done, as running a site and servers is expensive. Just sucks as this site's story upload and editing is the best out of all I've tried.
Important update for people! Ok, I did some digging and have found out that even with 'full access' the categories are still going to be hidden, but you will be able to view the content with direct links. so if people have a direct link to say... the mind control category, then simply following that link will work and you can view the stories in it. This is yes a very annoying work around of any restrictions/changes that have been implemented, but it is what needs to be done to keep the site working at all with the removed content. If you are curious what sort of content has been censored, while I do not have a list, I am pretty confident that most of the hidden themes are those that are on topics more or less seen as troublesome legal wise, namely to do with consent, I am pretty sure this is the case based on the categories that are now hidden, and those remaining. If you are not sure if you have such access, you simply need to go to the main page, look at the top, and if you see "News feed" next to "Discovery" then you have full access. So if you can see the News feed, please don't flood Friedman for access, the fact is you have it. You now just need to find direct links to the hidden categories.
So do you automatically get access after a month or do you need to ask for it? I don't have news feed so I don't have full access. Also anyone got a list of direct links? I lurked for a while but never saved any stories as I could just search for them.
From what I have been told, if your account has existed for more than a month you should have auto access and the news feed should be viewable showing you have that access. If you have had your account for more than a month and no news feed then you should reach out to get help from Friedman.
Pretty soon you won't even be allowed to have stories about having sex with landlords/ladies, they'll have to be step-landlords!

If you can see the news feed you have access. If you have an account older than a month and don't have access, you may need to talk to friedman
I'm curious if these are problems because of crowdfunding? The blocked content is obvious at this point, but if you go to say Literotica.com, they have those same categories visible with no issues.
I don't think that it is to do with funding directly at this point, Freidman wont say anything directly on that matter. But seeing as when Patreon put pressure on him he switched to Subscribestar, I don't think this is just a funding issue.
is this the same as missing stories I assume ? I have a few authors I follow but their stories have vanished but I get notifications to tell me they’ve been updated! It’s so frustrating to not be able to read their work!
