As Freidman stated earlier in this thread no stories have been deleted. Changes had to be made for legal reasons.

So I'm really confused about the new filter. I noticed on a story I was reading that someone commented on words disappearing. Okay, we all know that is now happening. What caught my attention was the word they said was missing. In this page ( https://chyoa.com/chapter/An-anti-climactic-end.600730 ) if you look at it without an account, one of the dialogue lines goes from "Do you drink a lot?" to just "Do you a lot?" It filtered out the word drink. DRINK. I get that there's been some recent pressure to hide/filter questionable content but the word drink??? I'm really beginning to wonder if this is the end of CHYOA.
I have now separated the filter for tags and texts. If you come across words that you think should be allowed in the text, please let me know.
Glad you're still tinkering with things. I guess were all just a little skittish because no one really fully understands what is going on. We have a vague idea but some of the changes seem completely arbitrary (like why was the word drink filtered in the first place.) It just makes us feel very uncertain about the future and if we should continue writing the stories we want to if there's only going to be more problems down the road.
It does, those categories now just have new names and you have to use the new name. Last time I posted it here it got deleted. Do this, start a brand new story and look at the categories you can put it in. All the new/replacement categories are visible and it's fairly obvious which one you want.
Hi, I hope everything is going well. Can I have a list of the changes too? My 2 favorite categories just disappeared and now I cannot look for them (Inc and MC)
Can something be done to help you limit the number of drastic changes and restrictions? I mean, many sites allow hypnosis (MC) for example while things like incest have happened even in mainstream series like Game of Thrones.
One thing I've noticed is that the word "kind" is removed. I know it's banned because of the translation from German, but if it's possible to check what language a story is in for the auto-edits, it'd be nice to have it back in the English ones. Edit: Actually, thinking about it, I've noticed things like "death" are also banned. Does that mean that German stories have to get by without the word "the" (Translated: die)?
