With the two men already off balance thanks to the grenade, Adam charges and dispatches them in short order. They crumple to the hard floor like their colleagues a few meters away.

An exhausted young man joins the professor and student in the center aisle, shuffling out of the same tent Adam appeared from with the aid of a gilded staff clutched in both hands.

He only gives Julia a passing glance. "Do you know this woman, Adam?" His voice is a monotone, stiff baritone.

Adam doesn't say anything, simply moving in, arms slipping around Julia and hugging her tight, the young man being unusually emotional. He nods after a moment, wiping his eye and settling back into his usual confident self. "Y-Yeah, good idea. Let's just go back the way you came." He says. When the other prisoner talks, he turns to him. "You've got great powers of observation, mon camarade." He smirks. "Yeah, this is Julia. Julia, the cute twink is Seth. Now that you're best friends, let's go." He starts walking in the direction Julia came from, rifle raised.

 

Dinah nods as a signal after a few seconds of quiet chanting with her hands clasped. As Felicia steps away, the bound servant awaits her master's signal to activate the aura. After about half a minute, the red-haired student sees, through the tiny reinforced glass window, a trio of men armed with rifles approaching the metal door.

 

Julia is a little surprised by the sudden display but returns the hug, though her adrenaline still running high and focused on her surroundings.

"I gather they helped you escape then? Well, explain later. We should regroup with the others and leave as quickly as we can."

 

Taking a deep breath, Felicia steps back, moving to the side as she awaits for the men to get to the door. Once they open it, and step through, she gives the signal for Dinah to activate her spell.
