Mark threw away the idea of getting a thick dick almost immediately. Having better junk won't help to survive this rather tense situation. Two other choices were far more interesting to consider and he almost went for a bodyguard but the word random threw him off. It would be extremely inconvenient if random meant a female orc, or some cyborg, or anything out of place in the universe. So the choice was done : Uploading 'in the shadows' into his mind (he still had no idea how it works and felt slightly uncomfortable) Then came a harder decision - what to buy. He started browsing items in all three shops looking for anything affordable and useful \\\ Few questions 1) Does Mark have any idea how close to the Gulf of Lune he is? 2) What loot is left from the princess after her horse is gone? Dagger, rope, and tattered clothes? 3) Can we sell items to the company? Not that I think they are interested in the meager loot but far more interesting items may be acquired later 4) Are freeform purchases allowed? I mean take whatever you list as a guideline, give a description of what I want to buy and the price I am ready to pay to see if something like this is available 5) As I understand, I don't choose quests, all of them are active and not mutually exclusive, right? \\\
As he looked over options, after some consideration, Mark choose a reward of skill. He clicked the option and almost instantly felt something shift in his mind. A knowledge he had not before, understanding he lacked suddenly was there. As he looked at the tree, he now got where to stand in it's shadow to be least visible - this was connection of natural effect wiht how his body seemed to now blend into shadows...
The woman smiled at two cats. "Why so surprised, agent?" She asked as she walked up to two, her heels clicking. Spoiler: control failure As Felicia realised with suprise that the woman was an agent, it must have shown onn her face. "And here we are~" She chuckled as her entire attention concentrated on fellow slaver. "Now what to do with you?" She hummed as she put her hand on Felicia's cheek.
Spoiler: shopping list 1) Basic wilderness survival knowledge\skills - 10 credits 2) Lightweight high-quality spear (perhaps made of some elven wood + mythril tip?) 3 credits 3) Enhanced Leather Armor for Hanna. Traits - lightweight (to not impede her stealth), sexy (to increase her chances to seduce\arouse someone). 3 credits 4) Hand axe 1 credit 5) Backpack 1 credit 6) Fire-starting kit 1 credit 7) Waterskin 1 credit Mark took some to decide what to do, He even considered buying three cheap fighter slaves to start a guerilla war against the elves but decided against this and settled on the flee through mountains option. And that required at least some knowledge of how to not starve do death, so half of his budget went for acquiring that knowledge. As soon as he got the information, he knew what he really needs to buy to survive in the forest and bought a few unexciting but useful things. Next, he spent some time looking for a weapon, he considered many options and chose a lightweight spear, good option for a person with not that much of a physique and only limited knowledge of melee combat. Finally, for the rest of his budget, he decided to buy a practical gift for Hanna to reward her for her help in capturing the first target - a gorgeous piece of leather armor
As she passed the door she felt herself be somewhere else. As she opened her eyes, a hot sand hit her face... and loud noise hit her ears... chanting. Kill! Kill! Kill! Hundreds of spectators were chanting on the arena. As she looked at the arena, she noticed a several contestants laying n the ground, and two remaining ones c;ashing against each other. Her phone buzzed. Spoiler: Notification Quest! The tournament already started and entry is not possible. Find Ivy Valentine taking part in tournament and take her place. The overall combat she saw, wasn't bad. They all clearly had quite some skill. They could prove to be somewhat serious opponents. How does this... Ivy struggled for a few moments with figuring out how to actually unlock the phone. They tried to debrief her on it, but she wasn't much in the mood for listening to inferiors condescend her. Still, it was surprisingly intuitive after a few minutes of playing with it. Right, she needed to take care of her alternate self. If I was here, where would I be? Well, for one thing, she wouldn't be in the stands or dirty rafters with the poor people. She was probably taking up somewhere privately reserved or escaping from the group to find somewhere mostly isolated to read. Not that any of these people likely understood the value of literature but- Reasoning, that if she thought anything alike, than she would never be talking to the other participants necessarily unless they looked ressearchly valuable. With that in mind, she made a beeline to follow her instincts for the private reserved area. She would look identical to herself.....so in theory, she could just walk right past them without anyone giving it glance. She just had to carry herself with confidence, not acknowledge anybody for too long and just give off the impression she was supposed to be there.
As Mark finished his purchases, his account was back to 0. All the equipment he requested appeared in front of him as soon as he pressed the purchase button... including armour for Hana Spoiler: Armour for Hana
The woman, her captor, raised her eyebrow. She stepped back and aimed her gun at Felicia - it was a strange gun - not a gunpowder one. "Ungag her." She ordered. As one of her minions followed her orders, the agent hummed. "No funny business."
"How many Black Cats are owned by the company?" Felicia raises an eyebrow. "My manager said millions. I won't make you that much if you sell me. But..." She leans forward. "I have a special advantage in this universe. I look and sound exactly like this universe's Black Cat - I'm probably even identical on a genetic level. And the Black Cat here is a good guy. She's trusted. The worst thing she's ever done is steal some jewellery - no one would ever imagine she'd enslave someone. You see where I'm going with this?"
Spoiler: sneak success Ivy's idea seemed to work, as she was not stopped by guards as sht sneaked into contestant's section. She walked around the combatants looking around. A few were watching the match, few talking among themselves... there were also a few private closed viewing platforms, but the access to them was guarded. Spoiler: search fail What's more, as she looked around, she could not find the person she was seeking...

" He weighed his new spear in his hands "What a nice thing! I am going back to the river to fish a dinner. Please, gather some firewood to cook it should I catch something. Try to limit yourself to dead wood, we don't want to anger the forest unnecessarily." (do they need to cross the river to go to the mountains?)
The woman smiled. "That's why I will collar her~ After all, she is a native~" She chuckled. "You on the other hand, well, agent's don't sell that well - but quest rewards for breaking them are absolutely worth it~"
Odd. It didn't seem like there was many places to be hiding here that someone wouldn't have seen. Of course, she couldn't just ask someone if they've seen anyone who looks identical to herself. But if she wasn't here, then perhaps she could just go to the arena and claim the spot in her absence while everything is set up. She would have to come by later before her match begins to deal with it there. She could probably appeal to her sense of logic that then....on the other hand, there was no telling the exact differences between this version and herself. On the off chance it would get physical trying to defeat herself might prove problematic with someone aware of exactly how she fights....but no doubt her other self would have at least some alchemic supplies tucked away in her waiting area that she might be able to prepare something in advance to give her an advantage.
