"Hmm, that is a fair point." Aki adds to Mei's words, "However, you also have to take into account that whoever may be trying to kidnap these students also have powers. So while having my privacy be invaded, I assume you were not at least watching what we were doing in private?" She eyes the man.
He smiled with a smug kind of satisfaction for a moment after feeling the blow connect. The buzzing and snap back to reality hit all at once. The change in temperature and lack of action, made his body start feeling the exertion, needing to catch his breath for a moment. "You? No." He gave her a quick reassurance of her role in it, though his face stiffened as he straightened. "The reason that worked out was because they're just machines. If they were real guys? It takes more work not to kill them by accident." His tone made it clear, that he was recalling some of his past fights. Of course, none of those street fights were really against trained people where he ever needed to be pushed and the ones that could...he shuddered for a moment thinking about it. No matter what. He was never going back to training with him again. "If I hadn't made the move, it would have tried killing you too. It's only a computer. I don't got to feel bad about that."
"I only kept vigil over the exterior of the house. Anything you did in the interior is between you and whoever you were doing it with." The guy shrugs.
"Good. I wouldn't want to get them mad at me this early." Miriam says. "I...no, I don't suppose you do." She agrees. "We, uh, kind of work well as a team, don't you think?" +2 Miriam Reputation
"That is... some assurance. Thank you." Aki replies, "So, how long until we get to the academy?" She asks, leaning back against her seat.
The action had died down, but bodies were still running a bit on adrenaline. This might be the time. Remembering he was still shirtless, he gave Miriam a hard look in the eyes as he slowly walked over to her closer. "You're smart, I'm strong. My powers hit hard, but yours make sure they stay under control. You think we were meant for each other?"

Magenta was incensed at the behavior of the three men, but even more-so at herself and how her body was reacting to their treatment of her. This she was able to pass off as the work of her passenger, but she still hated how their touch seemed to paralyze her with excitement. "Fine." she accepted wanting her ordeal to end yet at the same time not. Almost on autopilot she gave them her number, but she would come to regret that later. True to their word they left hurriedly, but still left her in a daze and she quickly straightened out her dress. As she waited for Mark to return she lamented how she should have at least done more to try and stop them and hated how good their behavior felt.
“Welcome home, father,” Sophia politely greets the man and gives a small bow, “it's so good to see you! I hope your trip was without issue?”
Victor followed Rebecca to the dormitories. He laughed when that key appeared and opened the door for them, like that letter he had gotten through the window. They stepped inside and he was surprised at how spacious it was and that all his things were already there, 'Yeah, that's some serious Harry Potter type shit going on here. But, huge room and no roommates? Pretty nice. Look at the size of that bed, it's huge.' 'Sure, see you later, Beccy,' Victor returned the hug and let her leave. He took off his jacket and sat down somewhere. He took off his shoes after so many hours in them. Looking around the room, he checked out what had been brought over, the bathroom and then threw himself on the bed, seeing how comfortable it was.
The man taps a few touch screens in the cockpit, before looking back at her. "About...an hour." He answers, as Aki looks down, seeing the deep blue of the Pacific rush beneath her - pretty good, given that normally such a flight would take more than ten hours. Mei moves to sit next to the man in the cockpit, talking to him, smiling at him, occasionally brushing her hand against his own - maybe she has a crush? If she does, though, it's not reciprocated, and Mei moves back to sit with Aki. "Want to practice a little while we wait?"
Spoiler: Charm Roll 0 Successes "I, I... Guess you could, ahem, say that..." Miriam blushes hard and looks away, seeming to shrink a little. "It's a little, er, early to say, though, I mean, I think..."
"Classes will start tomorrow morning, so you have until then." The woman replies. "No, not particularly - you're free to enjoy the facilities however you wish, provided you don't cause problems for your peers."
Mark returns, smiling and smelling of something sweet - apart from washing his hands he seems to have applied some more fragrance and slicked back his hair a little more. "Sorry about that - I shouldn't have eaten so much for lunch." He smiles and grips her hand. "You want to pick the movie? I checked online - the most recent showings are a superhero flick, a horror movie and a rom-com. Would it be too cheesy to take a date to a rom-com?" He chuckles, and Magenta feels a wave of relief wash over her - Mark betrays no sign of having noticed her run in with her 'fans'. He does seem to notice her expression, though, stroking her cheek with his palm. "Hey, are you alright? You look a little down." He says compassionately.
The maid bows and heads back into the house, as Sophia's father shrugs. "I thought that someone might have been following for a while after I touched down at the airport, but I must have been mistaken. Let's head inside, why don't we?" As they near the door, his phone buzzes, and he gestures for Sophia to go in without him, as he lifts it to his ear. "How dare-, wait, what? Look, that wasn't-" His voice is cut off as Sophia goes inside, though she can see signs of distress as she looks at him through the window.
The mattress and sheets yield beneath the young man, accepting him into their comfortable embrace. Outside his window, he can hear voices and activity - clearly this place is pretty lively at night. After a busy day, though, sleep is also an attractive option.
Magenta nodded then smiled "Yeah, I'm fine." she wrapped her arms around his and leaned against him. "A rom-com sounds fine to me. Although if you're a little daring I could also go for the horror movie. But the superhero one..." Mags frowned and shook her head, "I don't think I've ever seen one that's even remotely accurate."
She wasn't going for it. ....yet. But he got the sense that would change with time. No need to look too desperate. "We should probably be heading back by now."
Victor decided not to call it a night just yet, he got up and left his room. Exploring the corridors of the dormitory, he checked if he could find anything of interest. If everything was quiet, he went outside for a bit of fresh air.
The young hero accepts her body against his own, feeling warm and safe to Magenta's trouble mind. "If you're sure." Mark nods, as they continue on, chuckling at her comment about superhero movies. "Nope. But that's part of the fun, don't you think? Heh, if 'daring' is what you want, it's what you'll get." A short while later, they're seated together in the back row of an auditorium as the lights go low, the projector starts playing the horror movie. It begins with the sight of a comet falling down to earth. From the broken, superheated rock, something begins to emerge. From the point of view of...whatever it is... the audience watches as it crawls through nature to find itself in a small town, climbing through a window into a suburban house, where it finds a young woman, eyes closed as she enjoys a bath. The creature leaps, and then the screen goes black. From there, the young woman realises that there's an entity inside her body, withering down her inhibitions and directing her to commit more and more violent acts, as she struggles to resist its influence. Where have I seen this one before... The spirit laughs within Magenta's head, as Mark smiles at his date, oblivious to the third party. I'd never get you to kill anyone, though. Corpses are boring. Humans are only interesting when they're alive. Mark squeezes her hand lightly, barely illuminated as a night scene plays on the screen. Heh heh... You know, it's so dark in here, and there's no one else in this row... The spirit says, as Magenta feels herself heating up.
