Can you add potential choices for the next chapter without writing them?

Say, I have written a chapter (For a communal story that's not mine) and have some base ideas for branching paths, but I want to give other authors ideas to where the story could go, but I don't want to limit what they could they write by writing something for the "choices" To have an example, in the chapter I wrote, at the end I described what's behind three doors, and at the end I want the choices to be left door, middle door, right door, without writing a 2 paragraph version of "you entered the chosen door"/ "You entered the left door and decided to start stripping while singing the national anthem" despite the choice have nothing to do with stripping or the the anthem.
So is there a way to do simply the chapter titles with an empty chapter that other people (outside the story creator) can edit?

 

The simplest way is just to, in the chapter itself, describe the options and then explain in the comments or in meta text that you don't intend to write all of them and the rest are open to other authors. There are convoluted ways to get close to what you're asking, but they would be way less useful.

Honestly, I just wouldn't do it. Let potential authors make up their own story lines. It's both the easiest and the most enjoyable part of writing, imo. don't take that away from people.

 

You are might be right. Thing is the writer of the of the previous chapter (Chapter 2, with the branching story hub being chapter 1) wrote it such a way that it really feels like it should have been chapter 3. You know chapter 1 has the locations on where the character goes, which are based on the chapter 2 titles. Where chapter two has options on "how" based on the chapter 3 titles. The chapter 2 in this case also answers the how which makes other options on that path inaccessible. (If you want the more concrete stuff, the option in the hub is "To the showers". Then chapter 2 details how's she walk there naked (It's in character, but still, an option to do that, or go there clothed would have been nice)), and I want to avoid this type of story lockout

 

I'd love having something like chapter-level writer guidelines that are displayed to the user who tries to add

 

I remember some stories ending the chapter with the writer listing options there, for the other writers to elaborate on.
