Thanks! Wanted to have her fleshed out. About the ship - will we be starting with simple caravels, or can we choose something else (like spanish galleon!), or you will be deciding ships and crews?
I'll be doing a post about ship types probably tomorrow. Basically, you can go for a large ship - but a large ship requires more men who have to be fed and paid.

I went with a carvael, not sure if you'd be okay with playing around with the stats a slight bit of like losing hp for more guns. Still need to think of one more flaw, but not sure what to spend my unspent points on really.
I went with a Caravel as well. Mariel does not belong to a faction at the start, though I imagine she will be persuaded - or "persuaded" - to officially join England, since that is where she is from.
No hurry. I’m going to be busy almost all day anyway. Still haven’t thought of the last flaw and skills but I might do something like alcoholism. Or possibly the third thing it’s something she gains through the story as it happens?

(+10 to seduction rolls, can charm her way past people with +5, but enjoys sex a little too much, and will occasionally ignore more important things in the pursuit of a good lay.) Nation of Birth: Unknown Appearance: History: Isabela started life the illegitimate child of an unknown Spanish nobleman and his favorite prostitute. Belongings: A necklace, the last gift from her mother, and a bandana, a gift from a woman Isabela loved, but abandoned when she wished for more from the pirate. Weapons: Twin daggers, twin pistols. Equipment: Gold Doubloons: 10 Combat Skills: Isabela has perfected the art of dueling others, and enjoys fighting almost as much as fucking, and for many of the same reasons. She cares little for foresight. Freely Sexual: Isabela refuses to be tied down, sleeping with whoever catches her eye. She has difficulty when that is denied. She gets very needy when her organs are delayed or denied, dropping her confidence.
