First you should take out the Predators, and that security camera with plasma rifles. After that Yulia veils and uses an illusion to distract Gigas away from Maple and Lri Then try emp grenades and plasma rifles on Gigas.
So, unless we take out the directive we will have to keep dealing with this kind of stuff right? That's definitely less then ideal and a first as far as floor monsters go. I still think leaving one of the floor monster alive might be the way to break the cycle but I don't think we have that luxury here. On the bright side, material farming! Alright, Yulia's magic will be not particularly useful here, but with the suit on we couldn't cast Identify, which could be really crippling. Still, we have a few spells that should do some damage. We definitely want to make use of a illusion to distract some of them. Then Yulia can cast Force Lance and undermine, after that she can take her rifle and start sniping at the enemy. Lri and Maple should take advantage of their speed and go for hit and run tactics. Since they are pretty much immune to magic the only danger is getting to close to the enemy, so as long as distance is maintained this shouldn't be an issue. We also might as well use an EMP grenade, or hell, since we get four more plates out of this fight, let's use two. The big guy seems to be pretty scary if Maple is to be believed. And we are still at a very critical juncture here. Take out the predators first and then focus on the big guy.
Oh nice! Another opportunity to get pounded and then "pounded". What do we have here? I think the big guy having one eye is just too perfect to pass up on. You should totally blap it with a rifle to blind it and let it swing wildly. Those bots aren't connected to cameras like Manager~ Once big guy is blinded, trick him with an illusion that Yulia is close and make it swing at the predators while trying to smash the illusion. That's pretty crappy design if you ask me. Why would you put a single camera on a war machine? That's just such an obvious weakspot it's hillarious. I am surprised Sally didn't give it anything else to sense targets with, besides that single eye.
To tie together what everyone's said, how about this: Throw an EMP grenade at the big one, use that time to take out the cameras and the Predators, then use a mix of hit-and-run tactics, illusions, and potentially blinding the big one to take it out. Lri and Maple, just focus on shooting the whole time. Yulia, use Undermine, then Force Lance and the rifle to see which is more effective.
I think our best bet is giving Lri the Veil, Fishbowl, and Cloak, and having her sneak into the megastore. If she’s alone and has the EMP grenades on hand in case of an emergency, she should be able to escape from enemies even if they notice her.
So, the good news is that Yulia has God's light which means she can't really die from this the bad news is that this also means eternal suffering for Yulia Before we do anything, we do lug these Healing Kits around since pretty much the start. Do they perchance have the cure ability in them? Alternatively, one of the core upgrade mentioned, converting items. Maple, would we be able to manufacture a cure item with that? Dreg, what the hell is your price this time? Is it just fucking around with Yulia again or something more tangible? I'm actually not terribly opposed to the sneaking into mega mart plan, but I'd like to know our options first
Teheheh~ Doctor Remin is in! Let's see what crap that slut Yulia caught this time! We got: cold problems with breathing shaking?(wtf) constant coughing I am afraid that Yulia caught omega-gay flu! Kinda surprised she didn't catch STD first, that would be hillarious. As fun as it is, watching her suffer and shake like a pool noodle, it's not very sexy. If only she was constantly cumming! That would be awesome. I think I agree with Gambio on this one, let's see if engin remembered about several new toys she gifted us earlier and accounted for that when thinking up this disease. Let's hope it's not slime parasites in lungs, I hate those things. You can't stop coughing up more and more slime babies. I prefer to get stuffed with eggs instead of that.
Apaprently walking around without armour was not a smart choice. I agree that we should check our options before we send Lri off to the Megastore.
Man, Dreg sure loves his offers on this floor huh? Yeah, we can't really accept this. I mean, Goma has puppet! I'm not throwing puppet away. Maple, you haven't answered my question in regards to the core upgrade. Could item conversion give us a cure for Yulia?
Oh right I forgot about that, so just gonna answer here that yes, it could turn a healing or mana potion or a healing kit into a cure all.
The big one with a club came with the part we need to do the core upgrade, right? The safest option would be to just grab the remains of the monsters, have Maple turn that into the item converter, and use that to heal Yulia. Better to avoid splitting up if we can help it.
Yeah, it wouldn't be my first choice for core upgrades but since Yulia can't cure herself and having her out of commission can have crippling consequences I really think we should opt to get a reliable way to obtain these cure items. And of course with that we won't have to send Lri out. So i'd say lets gather the materials of the last fight and give one of the suits the item conversion upgrade. Maple is probably the best choice for it
So, I'm going to be away from home on Monday, so the next chapter may be a bit later or posted on tuesday.
Newest Post: Man you just keep getting unlucky with the Directive Rolls specifically when going to and from the workshop... I mean the chance of landing on the right spot is technically higher on this floor, but even so it shouldn't high enough that it happens this often!
God damnit XD I assume we are stretching the rules for this part, since technically the voices can only accompany one companion. That said, objectively speaking, the directive's offer is just infinitely better. And just because we go along with it doesn't mean we actually have to follow through. Once we have the girls back we can still decide to rescue Maple and destroy the Directive. Sure, technically we could also doublecross Greg, but not only will we not get the girls back, we might also need Greg's services in the following floors. So, yeah, I don't like it, but I think we have to accept this.
