"Yes, it can be a little risky at times. But I've found that rewards only come to you if you're...bold." He grins. "It's hardly Paris, here in the Indies. But there's such sweet fruit here to console me..." He gives both mother and daughter a smirk, cheeky glint in his eye.
"Oh, I'm sure you could still find things you'd enjoy about it. Perhaps, you should have dinner out manor before we make our voyage soon." Her implications weren't exactly subtle but it would be ice for some young company before she was stuck on a ship for how long.
The man grins knowingly, realising her attraction, but for now he lets her go. As the rest of the slaves are unshackled and the plunder unearthed, Renee ends up back in her cabin. Looking at her maps and using her mediocre navigation skills, she judges that they're still on course for Hispaniola, as she commanded earlier, and should be there in a few days. After that, it'll just be a matter of deciding whether she wants to go to the French-owned West of the island or the Spanish-controlled East, and what she wants to do there.
