Sally knows we're here, so we aren't going to have the element of surprise. I figure the yard could have some level of security that we might as well deal with now, rather than risk it blocking us in once we enter.

Do we still have a machine core ore is that a mistake? I think we should have used them all up by now.

The fact that Sally already know we are here is worrisome. I agree that going for the yard now is the better choice. Ideally we would gain some better understanding of the prisons layout before going in, but we probably won't have that luxury.

Considering Sally has a history of knowing where we are (and thankfully not being able to do much about it), the fact she has put the weather on full noir doesn't bother me, I would be more concerned about electricity conducting better on wet objects. This shouldn't pose a problem to us but electrified areas could empower the robots, hopefully I'm just worrying about nothing.

Seeing as Sally can't attack us directly I see no reason to not look around first. It seems only the directive can summon reinforcements so any clues as to how to take it out would be good.

Finally, watch out for ambushes, that's the only other reason I can think of that we aren't already under attack.

I see no reason not to check outside first. So starting from the yard makes sense. Also dealing with the first layers of defence in the open should be easier for us than inside in more confined space.

That is a mistake... I knew I was forgetting something.

How fitting that our first fight once we are fully suited up is against an enemy for which most of it will be useless.

Yulia cast identify on it do see what we are actually dealing with.

According to the Plasma Rifle's description it should still be effective against organic lifeforms, but I doubt the rest of our weapon will put much off a dent in this thing.

As such, Yulia's magic will be key.

Go full ham on it with Undermine(12%), Icicle(7%) Blizzard (2%) Lightning strike (7%) Fireball (7%) and Force Lance (7%)

Yulia should also cast an Illusion to divert the slimes attention

While we have the boar mask, I'm not sure using it in this fight would be all that smart

Keep your distance from it and blast it with your rifles, we don't know how fast it is, so be on your toes.

That explains the weather. I don't have any good ideas about turning off rain.

Identify first, and if that brings up something that makes the below a bad idea, ignore me.

Being close to this thing sounds like a bad idea, hopefully it is slow but I wouldn't want to bet on it being slow with no ranged attack. Retreat as required while applying a ranged bombardment.

We don't know how this thing senses it's surroundings yet, but anything that can destract it from attacking you is a good option. Hopefully identify brings up something useful in this regard.

Agreed on not using the boar mask, I think this is a fight for being careful not for berserker rushes.

    I agree with Gambio's plan.

If identify doesn't show immunity to poison we should convert our EMP grenades into poison grenades and see how effective they are. If they seem to be effective use them freely. If necessary we can retreat and make more grenades from plates we have before continuing further.

Glad we made it through that, and I'm glad we handled that before heading in. Imagine having that thing come in behind us if we'd gone straight in. Also, I'm a bit worried about what Sally said about having a replacement soon. Could this be connected to what she's doing to our captured party members?

Seems we've got little to do but head inside.

Magic really is something, well done Yulia. To Emmie: I don't think a new mega slime is an imminent issue, just that killing this one isn't the end of stasis slime.

We've already met the directive in some form, but this is the first we've heard of the officer. I expect they are both robots, not that wondering about them is likely to help.

Time to head on in, watch out for traps and ambushes as per usual.
Perhaps also have a think about the best way to get everyone else out of stasis. Maple, do you know anything that might help?

Hm, never like it when the difficulty is above zero, we probably were a bit too cautious here, but Maple tends to hype up every enemy we come across even if they are chumps

Before we head in, Lri is injured, so Yulia should heal her.

Other then that, yeah nothing else to do but to head into the prison

If it controls the cells, it might be worth tossing an EMP into one and using it for cover. Of course, that's if we can be reasonably sure it would mess up whatever tricks are inside the cell.

Yulia, use Undermine on the Officer while Maple and Lri open fire on the support units. Then Yulia should use Blizzard to cover us, as well as some illusion plays. Our main goal should be to deal with the Officer's treads to limit its mobility, that'll deal with its stun baton and the cell. If we can deal with the revolver and turret, we can whittle it away with plasma rifle fire.

    Well, that thing is freaky.

We are kinda in an awkward position here.

Yulia however, should absolutely dominate since the enemy uses almost only ranged weapons. The only danger is the Officer getting close with his stun attack and whatever the cell have in store for us.

Going into a cell might actually be the best play here, we could use Yulia to block the door, thus forcing the enemy to come at us in close combat.

I would say Maple and Lri should secure one of the cells by tossing an EMP in and blasting everything that moves while Yulia takes the attention of the Officer and his goons. The goons would either have to come down from the walkway or be rendered useless. If they do give chase, Yulia should join Lri and Maple in the cell.

From there we can blast the enemy with concentrated fire and EMP's

The only danger I see is if the Officer could lock the cell automatically, but we do have masterful unlock, so I think we could break out easily enough if that were to happen.

Other then that, I think Emmie's array of spells is fine, although I would add Force Lance in the mix too.
