Why is everything here almost invincible?

Good point about the masterful unlock but I can think of nothing good that can come from ending up in a cell. Probably better to use retreating into a cell as an almost last resort.
It's possible that the officer can't use the stairs so moving to the upper level may stop it getting close but it being a walkway may mean it can just open cell doors to be in your way or something.

Yulia still has the cloak of not getting shot so her acting as cover for the other two from whatever the non-lethal projectiles are, although if it turns out to be stun shots then I guess this isn't required.

The officer isn't described as having any kind of camera built in so removing cameras around the room may help.

EMP grenades are useful this time, we can always make more so feel free to use as many as you need.

I agree on the plan thus far. Removing cameras seems to be generally useful on this level.

The opponent is now significantly more ranged than previously and Yulia is invulnerable to ranged attacks due to having the Cloack of Turbulent Waves. So withdrawing to a cell would force them to gather together instead of spreading out and encircling our group.

Why is everything here almost invincible, because machines are made to be very durable :D Don't worry this won't continue to be a trait past this floor. Machines and the difficulty in dealing with them is a this floor only specific difficulty.

Weeew. Finally back of the creative void to take a look at yet another machine of doooom!

Well. This is definitely a combat machine, alright?
I wonder what kind of a turret it has because if it's a riot water cannon, you are screwed gals.
Or flashbang launcher (MK19 Mod 3 - real-life AGL(automatic grenade launcher) can fire 5 grenades per second with 300 grenade magazine. Scary stuff.)
It might as well just blast everything with pressurized stasis slime for all I care.

I would really take that turret very, very seriously.

Well, it looks like the cells were a bad call. I'm just glad we got through this.

First things first, Yulia should heal everyone up. We have to deal with the Directive sooner or later, so we should tell Cherchiel, Isalia, and Lemiel what we've learned about the robots and their weaknesses, as well as explaining the new items we've gotten.

As for this mysterious object, I think we should try casting Identify on everyone to see if it explains what's currently happening. The idea that everyone besides Yulia and Lri have something inside of them is a big concern.

Well. The cells gave us +20 to the roll so yeah. I won't lie, it was fun finally seeing someone get herself stuffed, hehehe~ As much as I wanted kitty stuffing, Lri will do, I guess...

Interesting that Maple also has that thing inside of her. How about you just pull it out?

Huh, battle aside, we got them out a lot easier then expected.

Just to clarify, the girls we rescued are naked but still have their weapons right?

The reason Goma is not here is obviously because she already is pregnant or at least was when she got captured.

Since I don't think Sally has any interest in impregnating the girls, whatever's in them should give her some other advantage.

I expect some means of control, that allows her to turn anyone over to her side, although that doesn't exactly explain why she hasn't made use of that before.

Regardless, Yulia has a lot of healing to do. And identify sounds like a good plan. We should also try it with Lri to see if she was infected as well.

Oh, and we should definitely check if we got another core from the Officer and any other metal stuff from the goons.

If we do, then I think it's worth it to retreat for now and suit someone else up first. I don't like leaving Goma behind but we need to exercise caution here.

That could have gone better, but mission accomplished so all good. Perhaps we should take warnings from identify a little more seriously next time.

About Goma. The pregnancy is why Sally is holding her separately, I wonder if it is because the child can't be put into stasis thus putting the mother into stasis would kill the child and thus is something Sally will not do.

We have some time to heal and generally collect ourselves, priority is probably working out what that thing is. We should also wake up the other prisoners, best case they will help us (nothing here kills so they might be willing), otherwise more problems for Sally to chase down can't be bad and one of them might know something (like what is happening to Goma).

Lemiel is currently at 0 mana so can't use her swords. A rest or mana potion for her is probably a good idea before fighting anything powerful, thankfully that's not imminent.

Mapel, you said that we may not get another chance to fight the directive, any particular reason why?

I agree that healing anyone who needs it and collecting resources should be the next step. Also casting identify on captured party members to see if it tells us something about the thing inside them could be useful. Though, identify on Maple did not reveal anything in https://chyoa.com/chapter/Clothed-and-Comfortable.1445219

Lemiel's situation, and the fact that this level has technology to suppress tower magic points towards suppressing the magic being at least part of the implants do.

After that we can decide if we want to retreat or push on.

They are naked and while they technically should not have their weapons, I didn't destroy their weapons either so we're gonna just flub it and assume their weapons were recovered at some point, but are not currently on them. I'll try to remember to add something about rearming them with their weapons in the next chapter.

Alright, we have a lot of equipment stuff to do then lol

I guess there's a chance Sally will up the security of the prison if we decide to leave, which would definitely be bothersome.

    Tough choice.

For me it comes down to what materials we get out of the fight just now.

Also I just checked out crafting and

    https://chyoa.com/chapter/:Crafting:.1186324

We really screwed up by not making more rifles and suits, they are very cheap XD

Nope, I decided, I think we should head back, craft a bunch of rifles and suits for our rescued girls. I really don't like the idea of challenging the floor monster with a bunch of naked girls, as sexy as that would be.

  13. Boodalian

    Boodalian Experienced

We really should have got a bunch of spare rifles for this moment. We already know armour doesn't do all that much, and if being naked bothers you we do still have the swimsuits.

The suits take a machine core each, so we are quite limited on the number of those we have. And other than the rifles, all the other tech stuff requires that suit. This is only the wandering monster and after a rest I think most things it can throw at us will just be turned into more tech plates. We lose the completionist streak but I have somewhat gone off that now. So even if coming back later isn't possible I don't think I mind.

So that was the prison, hm? A dumb, metal box on threads and 3 steel dolls with zappy sticks?
    That just felt so... crude.
I hope it wasn't Sally's design. Who puts melee weapons on tanks?

At least gals are all squeezed into sexy skintight armours. Poke some holes in correct places and they might as well be naked, hehe~

Gonna print more rifles? Pffff. Let me know when floor is over. I will be sleeping through all the battles you are going to be stomping.

Looks like everyone forgot about the prisoners lol

Alright, loooooots of upgrades to take care off

We have 20 metal plates and a core to work with

We do want rifles for everyone.

We also want tech armor and the tech bodysuit

    3 rifles= 6 plates
    3 tech armor= 3 plates
    tech bodysuit= 3 plates+core

Now who's going to wear the bodysuit?

Lemiel has a bunch of magic, so she's out by default

We could give it to Isalia, but I have a different role in mind for her.

No, my pick would be Cherchiel

I also believe we should get the strength upgrade for her(assuming her combat level can rise higher then "high"

Together with the Boar mask, Cherchiel will be our brawler that forces the enemy to concentrate on her or get destroyed, while the rest of the group, goes for a long range approach

    Cherchiel strength upgrade= 2 plates

That brings our total cost to 14 plates and one core

Since we still have a decent amount of EMP grenades I think we should safe the rest for when we get another core

Finally, I would like for Isalia to receive the veil of hidden depths and fishbowl for illusion.

She will be our rogue and go for stealth action.

That leaves the stuff inside the girls. I'm a bit torn about what to do with it. This wouldn't be the first time we dealt with something like this but last time we had help and I'm not sure if Yulia has enough experience to handle this.

On the other hand, keeping this stuff in, could very well have catastrophic consequences.

I wait what the other voices have to say on the matter.

In my mind the prisoners are basically just working to free each other and then going to just sort of spread around Iralia and mostly serve as minor distractions as Sally works to round everyone back up.

I greet the other Voices and introduce myself. I am Gaudium, I have only just recently joined in watching over little Yulia's progress here and have merely observed while I have caught up with the events so far. I believe I understand the situation well enough to voice my opinions now.

Regarding the usage of materials, I agree with Gambio that everyone should be equipped with tech armor and plasma rifles. If Maple is able to, a plasma weapon that could be used in melee range like a sword or dagger would be good for Cheri, considering her greatest assets are her strength and body. Perhaps Martin would be able to assist.

I do not know if the tech bodysuit should go to Cheri though. Her current strength comes from Divine Grace and while it is not like most magic, it did come from a spellbook and the bodysuit has proven itself to be able to nullify passive magics like God's Light. If Cheri is able to wear the suit without it hampering her Divine Grace though, I agree that she should be given the suit with the strength upgrade. If Cheri is unable to wear the bodysuit without blocking her Divine Grace, the bodysuit should go to Isalia.

While Isalia has her resourcefulness, I think Lri is a better candidate for the rogue position. Lri has more experience with combat and was one of the Queen's most skilled ambusher. The Veil and Fishbowl should go to her. Isalia would be better in a position where she can use her expertise in detecting traps as a spotter of sorts, keeping an eye on the enemy in case they play any hidden cards.

As for the objects inside of the girls' wombs, I think it would be foolish to leave them alone. There is no telling what it could be. It could be a tracker, a remote activated bomb, or a tentacle robot ready to violate the girls whenever given the command. It would be best to deal with it first and face the repercussions of removing it, rather than waiting to see what it does when it is too late. And doing so while in the Terminal, outside of Sally's sight and reach, would be best. I have a few ideas on how they could be removed.
    1. As Isalia, Cheri, Lemi, and Lri experienced firsthand, a mechanical tentacle is perfectly able to fill one's holes. If Maple is able to create a hollow tentacle with a modified tip that can expand and open, it could be used to reach and enter a girl's cervix. The tip would then open and extract the object inside through the hollow tube, much like a reverse spider's ovipositor. Of course, the tentacle should be coated in an aphrodisiac to ensure there is no pain or discomfort with the removal and to make the cervix penetration as easy as possible. As a bonus, the mechanical tentacle can be kept as a toy to satisfy Yulia's incubation fetish, perhaps as a strap-on that Cheri can wear.
    2. If removal is too difficult for now, the best alternative is to prevent the object inside from doing anything. This option would still include a mechanical tentacle, but the tip would be replaced with a modified EMP. The EMP would have to be modified so there's no physical explosion or concussive blast, just a strong electromagnetic pulse. The tentacle would enter the girl's pussy and press against the cervix before the modified EMP releases a strong enough electromagnetic pulse that can hopefully shut down whatever is inside the girl's womb. This idea comes with a few caveats, mainly that it hinges on the object inside of the girl's womb being completely mechanical and not organic, and that the object inside does not short-circuit, as a release of sparks and electricity in the womb would most likely be a very painful experience.
    3. The final option is through surgical removal. While Yulia has done this before, she had Lemi and Goma on standby to heal. With Lemi's powers cut-off and Goma still missing, Yulia would have to do the healing herself. Having to concentrate on the healing spell while maintaining focus on the surgery sounds like a terrible idea and it takes only a single slip of the hand to cause serious complications. Additionally, when Yulia performed the surgery on Isalia in the past, Isalia's womb had been swollen from the parasite, which most likely made it easier to reach and cut open. I list this idea as an option as it is possible to do, but I think this idea should be avoided at all costs. Besides, the girls' bodies are too pretty to scar.
These are the best options I have currently. I welcome any of the other Voices to express their thoughts on the ideas or any ideas of their own. Regardless, Yulia, make sure to pet Maple for her hard work.

(Hello! In the future, I'll write any non-Voice comments and questions in parenthesis, just to avoid any confusion with my Voice comments and questions. I just recently found this story a few days ago and read all the way up to the current chapter. I very much like the story so far and the concept of a reader influenced story, with this being the first time I have ever posted on the CHYOA forums. Looking forward to the future!)

Gambio's plan for equipping our group sounds good.

If we can get to some kind of medical facility or Maple can provide us with a way to know more of the implant we should take a look asses if they can be removed or can be left until we have dealt with Sally.
