I generally agree, but I would like to get an extra rifle for Goma when we find her. Even if it is too late for this floor, having an effective ranged option each sounds like it should be helpful. Can tech armour be used without a suit? I could just be misremembering that it couldn't. I general I agree with Gambio, although I have to ask if the suits will even fit the angels. They are maple sized and the angels are bigger than everyone else. Finally we should get some rest, not everyone has self regenerating mana. If you don't want to take Dreg's deal just sleep in shifts with a run away plan in case things get hairy. I'm going to be a coward and not comment much of the things. But if you are going to remove them use identify on the first one you get out, if they turn out to be benign at that point we can avoid the additional risk. I thought for the future: is it worth searching for machine cores, and/or farming for tech plates? I worry we are going to be out scaled by the floors so getting any advantage we can while we can may be important.
To address some of the stuff Gaudium has brought up. I don't particularly mind switching out Lri for Isalia. I think they can both fulfill the role of rogue decently enough. I mostly picked Isalia because Lri was already wearing the suit, but I'm not particularly hang up on that part. I like the idea of mechanical assistance to help in the surgery, if Maple thinks she can pull that off.
Wow, it's gotten crowded around here! I have no issues with using our resources as specified, nor with giving the fishbowl to Lri since she's proven to be adept with it. The plan to remove the womb device is interesting, I hope we can get it to work. But I'm curious about the point of these devices. Maple has one even though she was put into the stasis gel, and wouldn't have had a chance to get out if we hadn't been sent to this floor by the Tower itself. Sally also put one into our three captured companions before sealing them away. It could just be a tracker or bomb or something, as a backup plan in case people escaped (as they have). But if they're specifically going in the womb, would any of the men have one? Does it just go somewhere else? I may be overthinking this (I've done that before) but I'm really curious to see what Identify can reveal if we can get someone's out. Because I feel like this device is connected to Sally's obsession with life and keeping everyone alive.
Newest Post: I called it removal, before remembering they wouldn't be removing anything yet... Oh well
You can then title the next one Removal 2. I'd say our options are to go to the hospital now or go to take out the Directive first. Then continue to the hospital on the way to Sally. If going to the hospital is dangerous enough to warrant a warning, I would prefer to take out the directive first.
Well, if creating a mechanical tentacle to extract the womb object requires a Machine Core, I'm not sure if it's worth it considering that the Core could be used for an upgrade instead. Unless the mechanical tentacle could be scrapped later on to salvage the Machine Core. If we do decide to use a Machine Core for this purpose though, the girls could look around the city for another major machine to obtain another Core, but we don't know the location of any currently, unless Maple does. They are better equipped now than when they first fought the Manager, so it shouldn't be as difficult but there is still some risk. I agree that the Directive might be the best choice for this since it would most likely have a Machine Core of its own and it wanders around, meaning the girls could wait to ambush it in a more opportune location where Sally is less likely to see. And we'll need the key it holds for the reward Alide mentioned. I think going to the hospital carries a lot of risk. It's in the administration block, meaning that there will be a lot more cameras for Sally to spot the girls. If Sally realizes that the girls are trying to remove the objects in their wombs, she could remotely activate whatever device is inside of them. And even if the object inside is not a bomb, being constantly attacked by machines while in the middle of the removal process could be dangerous. It means less hands available to fight and a higher chance that something goes wrong during the process. And since the girls will have to stay in the hospital until they are finished, it means that Sally can just keep sending reinforcements. Maple could probably make some tools like a speculum and dilator to perform the removal in the terminal. It would be uncomfortable, so a lot of lubricant and aphrodisiac would be needed, but it wouldn't require cutting through the abdomen. My vote is to either get the Machine Core for the mechanical assisted extraction or have Maple create some tools for Yulia to manually remove the womb objects. But if the other Voices think the hospital is best, I won't dispute it. And don't be so grouchy, Cheri-Berry.
I don't think there is any particular danger of going to the administrative district, if we aren't able to go there now I doubt we will be able to beat Sally anyway. And this hospital doesn't have some kind of mechanical manager of any kind, right? It is becoming a bit of a theme. I think we should head there, I doubt the things are anything too dramatic. Killing seems to not be a done thing on this floor, I think we have encountered exactly one case of actually lethal weapon. Would it be possible to use identify directly on the object? Push a finger up there or something? Even if I'm convinced it's not too bad, I still don't like knowing nothing. I think we should also get the combat upgrade for Isalia, we have the resources and not much else to spend them on.
Feeling a bit under the weather so I keep it short. Hmm, so the suit doesn't work with Cherchiel's power either, eh? That's less then ideal. Well, I mean now that we have come so far might as well go the hospital route. If we encounter anything this should give us a good training run for our new old members.
I think the big question that’s complicating this decision is “how urgent is it to get these out?” Is it something we should deal with ASAP? Something we should go to the hospital for? Something we can save until after beating Sally? I’m leaning towards heading to the hospital, even though we’ll have to deal with robots and maybe another boss fight. But I do have one other idea: Lemiel has God’s Light, so she’s more durable than the others. We could remove hers first right here, use Identify on it, and then make the call on what to do for the others. She’s also the most motivated to get it out, since we aren’t sure what effects it has on anyone besides the fact that it’s cutting Lemiel off from the Tower Above. I’m also wondering about Del. He wasn’t in prison, and when I asked Maple to use “let me see Del” as part of a distraction a while back, Sally said that wouldn’t be possible. Why? Maybe he isn’t just being stored in stasis gel like the others? Presumably he’s wherever they’re keeping Goma. There’s also Sally’s obsession with sexual humiliation. I feel like there’s something here regarding what started all of this…
Zzzzzzz... Oh? A cute pair of security androids? Why they have to be some flavor of animal? Does nobody thinks metal can be really sexy anymore? Shame.... It could have been inspiration for my own designs. Pfff. Honestly. Why not just go with them? It's only two of them and they seem more concerned you will trash the hospital or go somewhere they don't want you to. It would be very un-Sally-like if she let you just cut yourself open and possibly risk dying, no? Just think of her poor, poor electronic heart. She'd be heartbroken if any of you died due to infection from doing surgery on a dirty bench somewhere. Remin lets out a short giggle and blows a kiss.
Great, negotiations. You could try effectively threatening them, tell them you need to operate immediately and that if they won't help you will have to do it outside. It probably won't, but if hospital staff are programmed to generally believe people it might work. Otherwise, destroying security and threatening them to make them help will probably work well enough, although I'm not keen on it. Hope you feel better soon Gambio, and not just because you are better at negotiations than me and our nightmare voice.
XD, thanks. Yeah, I'm mostly good now. Well, we do have an emergency at hand so we could appeal to the hippocratic oath. Let's just hope there are actually some Hyppo's working here! ... My apologies. Lemiel, since you want to go first, let's have you fake a stomach ache. That should hopefully get them to comply. Having the hospital staff help us here would definitely be advantageous, but otherwise, violence it is.
I do know how to negotiate, thank you very much. I just think that some rough treatment and cuffs with help with girls' attitude. There is a good chance that Sally just doesn't want gals to hurt themselves.
Well, Sally seems to be ready to go quite far keeping people from hurting themselves. I agree that negotiating seems better for now. If the hospital staff is like prostitutes, they probably don't share all Sally knows. So Yulia can declare herself chosen and state that she fears that her companion is pregnant but everything is not well.
Pregnancy? I am not sure if they will be okay with removing it if you say it's a pregnancy. Maybe claim allergy?
Well, it seems like I was worried for nothing. I honestly expected there to be a lot more fighting to get here, but it seems that's not the case. I agree with Miss Nightmare. I think it won't hurt to follow along with the security guards. At worst, they have stun guns and batons against our plasma rifles and swords. At best, they pull out a pair of fuzzy handcuffs and set the stun gun to a more fun level. If it comes to it though, Lemi could definitely fake a medical emergency. Maybe appendicitis or something along that line. Hope you're good at acting, Lemi. Also, it seems Sally is starting to show off a more perverted side of herself. I'm starting to like her.
Finally someone to back me up! I feel like engin is going easy on the gals with the pervy stuff. You have pair of polite, handy androids and yet y'all panic like they are terminators. I would just drop three squads of my female, cybernetic, prison guards in bodysuits and black glass helmets that cover entire head, armed with whips, hardlight quarterstaffs, few nets and shocking gloves (from my private setting). That would be something. Yup. Was dumping buckets of cum into her core when I wasn't replying. (jk)
Following along seems pointless to me, they want us not in the hospital so following them will result in us not being in the hospital. I don't think security is here to help us, just to usher us swiftly back out the door. Got it, an expert at forceful negotiations.
