Forced Feminization

So, I've been on this site for several months now and forced feminization is a kink of mine. However, majority (not all) are forced onto the MC of the story. The question I'd like to ask is why there is a shortage of this being the other way around? I don't mind stories about the MC being feminized, don't get me wrong that can be hot too, but there is a severe lack of the MC forcing others into feminization. Sometimes, I wanna be the one to do it you know?

Basically, I wanna ask why there is a shortage of these types of stories. Is it frowned upon or something? Are most of the readers on here straight or submissive? I know this isn't a big issue, I'm just curious what kind of response I'll get.

When there is a male and he is submissive there is definitely a tendency to make him the protagonist. And yeah I would say it's what most readers who are into feminization want.

is from the dom's perspective and there is lot of forced feminization/crossdressing in it

I like feminisation stories and tend to prefer those focusing on the one feminised. I'm mostly straight and not much into domination or submission IRL. I tend to like action/adventure and peril in my stories though and forced, accidental or unwanted feminisation and BDSM themes give that much more easily than if the protagonist willingly transforms.

I just want to add that, though I’m meh on Forced Feminization, I do read many stories focus on it (especially with my own specific fetish), but hardly ever with the one doing it to others unless it’s something rather quick. You have given me something to think about.

I've stumbled on a couple more stories where the MC feminizes others, but its still rather low in numbers (from my own searching, maybe someone can point me towards others I haven't found yet). Hoping to hear from some other people on the general idea though, why do you think this is less popular than having the MC be force feminized themselves?

Hmm, it might be that its more interesting to the writer to describe the slow mental changes of the person going through it then to describe it through a second person's eyes. I mean having the person's mental state go from 'There's no way I would be accepted or look as pretty as a real girl.' to 'I look gorgeous and have found acceptance from the ones I love.' as the story progresses seems like it would allow the writer to expand on all the little things in-between easily if told through the feminized person perspective.

Of course this changes a bit if its a forced feminization and it would go from 'I will never be a girl no matter what you do to me.' to 'Being a girl actually isn't so bad, I might even like it.' the progression is a little different but basically follows the same path reluctance/doubt to acceptance. Of course the in-between is wrought with fear which would be fun to describe for the writer and interesting for the reader when there is a stake for the characters.

In a forced feminization point of view, with the focus being on the Dom. The writer forgoes the feelings and slow progression of the feminized and instead replaces it with the Dom's feelings. Writing his mental state as starting with 'I bet he would look pretty cute as a girl.' to 'I was right he made a perfect little bitch.' as the story progresses is a much more linear path with no real growth. The simple progression might not be as interesting to the writer when told from this prospective?

Beyond the simple answer of most of the writers being (I assume) male, writing a forced feminisation story from the forced character's perspective allows us to explore a possibility that is not available IRL. Yes, I know gender reassignment is possible, but that takes a lot of courage and mental and physical pain and very few end the process looking as young, beautiful and feminine as the characters in feminisation stories. There is a valid point to most whether it is a written story, movie, video game or RPG that characters that are always powerful and in control get boring very quickly. A story from a dominant perspective forcing a feminisation on another lacks any real risk or development arc as Alternate Path pointed out. A strong character made weak and overcoming that weakness to regain control is simply more engaging.
