Hey, I adopted "the Crystal Orbs of Princess Varda" some time ago.

It's been two years since the last update, and eight months since the author's last appearance on CHYOA.

 

I just want to say that I often go long periods without updating or logging in but still lurking and checking my email for new chapters. In the old chyoo stories would only be put up for adoption if pending threads were left for a long period of time without approval or denial, as opposed to general inactivity. I think that should be the standard for reassignment.

 

I agree with that.

 

The way I put up stories for adoption is either they do not have an account on chyoa.com forums (which would mean that they can't receive notifications. Or I email the person and ask them if they would like to keep their stories or not. And If they do not respond to the email within 30 days, I put it up for adoption.
