Have you already hit the "Publish Story" button on the Edit Story page? (As the story isn't published, you will find a link at the bottom of the Introduction chapter.) Your story hasn't been deleted but rejected. The reason is stated at the top of the Introduction chapter.
No, when it is in review, it appears in the list and will be reviewed by a moderator as part of the next batch.
No, it got deleted. It was a glitch. It never got submitted but it went blank. I've rewritten though.
Well, there is a lot of stuff in the Writer Guidelines of the story, though if that was in the Introduction, the story would still not meet the requirements for new stories. Have you put your "story content" in that field? (After setting up the story options, you get to a second page to write the Introduction chapter.)
You have no idea what was in the introduction or what story I'm even talking about so how can you know whether it would meet requirements or not. I filled out the first page. It was when I clicked to go to the second page to write the first chapter that the entire screen blipped and went blank. I didn't get a chance to write a single word in the first chapter and therefore did not submit the story for review. IT WAS A GLITCH, NOT A REJECTION. Besides, even a rejection would still leave me what I had written so I could edit it and try again. This glitch blanked everything and left me nothing to edit. But it's okay now. I rewrote it from scratch and am still editing it because it isn't ready to submit yet.
You're partially right and partially wrong. Here's the timeline to clear up your confusion. I started The Erotic Adventures of Todd (TEAoT). I was still working on it when I moved to write the first chapter and it glitched and deleted everything I had written. I wrote the post in this forum on Aug 1 at 9:33 pm. I waited a while but got no response and figured there was no salvaging what was deleted. I rewrote the entire TEAoT from scratch and submitted it. It got rejected because the first chapter was too short. on Aug 4 at 10:30 am, you finally noticed my post from Aug 1 at 9:33 pm. We posted back and forth for a while. me talking about the glitch before Aug 1 while you talked about the rejected submission that happened later. Last night, I lengthened the first chapter and resubmitted it. (I didn't have to rewrite it because it hadn't been deleted when it was rejected.) This morning, it was rejected because I'm still about 55 words short of the minimum. Currently, I am still trying to figure out how to add 55 more words. I have the story in my drafts folder so I can add to it as I think of what to add. So everything is okay. It was unfortunate that it got deleted but it's okay. Thanks for trying to help.
Hi, I'm a little confused. I published my first story yesterday and it went alright. I went back and added a few more chapters today starting with this one: https://chyoa.com/chapter/gulp-down-a-pill.1599555 that are now stuck in the "Not Published" state. I'm the story owner and I remember for previous chapters I needed to go in and approve them but I now see no option to do so. I've read through some of the guide but might have missed something, what do I need to do? Thanks in advance, qouta
New stories need to be approved by a moderator, so your story was still in review. This is kind of a bug with stories that are in review. You shouldn't see the "approve chapter" option and clicking it doesn't change anything. After the story got approved, your chapters will be approved automatically as soon as you publish them.

How long is too long a wait for review? That is, how long after submitting a chapter for review should one wait before reporting it here?
We generally recommend waiting 10 days before posting here. Feel free to contact the author of the story to speed up the process.
