I've noticed that the search will not find results for a few words. When it would not find results for "slave" I thought it was a censorship issue but I just tried searching for "todd" and it came up with no results even though I know of at least two stories about a character named Todd. How does the search work?
"Slave" is one of the words that SmutMD blocks. "Todd" seems odd, but it might be because of what those four letters become if someone adds "ler" to the end. Just a theory.
Another issue might be that the search engine, AFAIK, only takes into account title, subtitle, synopsis, and tags. If the name “Todd” isn’t in any of those four fields, then searching for it won’t result in that story.
Except there is Poor Todd and The Erotic Adventures of Todd. That's two stories I know of that have Todd in the title.
Add "incest" to the list of words the search engine won't look for. Also, there are other problems with the search engine that make it hard to find what I'm looking for. For example, when I put a word in the keyword and select a category, sometimes the search engine will only search for the keyword and sometimes it will only search for the category.
