Just for fun, tell us why you chose your avatar.

I finally figured out what my avatar should be after many years of indecision. In honor of that, I thought it would be fun to have a place where each of us can describe our avatar and why we chose it.

Mine is my favorite ignudi from the Cistine Chapel. It is said that the model for this ignudi was a stone mason which explains his great musculature. It's natural musculature, not the kind of musculature one gets from steroids or from focused exercises done in an environmentally controlled gym. The image is also very classical, not a modern in-your-face, radical image.

So tell us about your avatar.

 

I like food. The original image looked delicious, and corn rhymes with porn.

Answering your question and typing this now makes me realize how absolutely terrible my so-called "avatar" is. Thank you.

 

In Terry Pratchett's Discworld, if you're a surface dweller you build upwards, and the highest point is the most prestigious, hence the most powerful individual is the High King. But Dwarves go in the other direction, tunnelling downwards, and so for them the deepest/lowest point is the most prestigious, ergo: Low King.

The pic is not necessarily related to that character or to Discworld, but it shows a squat, broad, bearded, old-looking, mechanically inclined dude, which seemed to fit. (Though only a couple of those adjectives apply to me-the-human.)

 

Wanted something a little less off-putting, ran across it in an old manga, snip-snip.

 

I wanted a succubus picture because I was planning to post a succubus story at some point, but I never did get around to it, and now it would feel weird to change my pic

I've been working on images with my stories, so I keep a cropped version of my character's current state as I'm going through it.

(I should clarify that I'm turned on by "porn" lesbians, almost never by real-life lesbians, because they don't want me to watch and that kills any enjoyment I might otherwise get from it. Watching female pornstars make out with each other is just about my ultimate turn-on, though.)

Ooh where to begin? Mine speaks to my happy place, and where a lot of my stories go - it’s also a bit of art I really like and want to remember, depicting a favourite view/pose!

 

I was looking for some incubus looking picture (this one is technically a DnD Tiefling, I think) and blue is my favourite colour so I wanted a blue one. Also I preferred a headshot but I forget if I found one or just snipped this out of a bigger picture.

I might change this one later if I get around. I did go almost a decade without any avatar at all on this site though so I don't have a good track record of changing avatars often...

 

I normally don't care for incubi but there is something about a blue incubi.

 

My avatar is explicit: i love incest video and history. Unfortunately never realized this fantasy.

 

The artist is called Type90. While not my favourite hentai artist, I am influenced by his intense style when writing.
My main story revolves around demon women, so one of his doujin covers with a demon woman on it was an obvious choice

 

A little late, but whatever; When I first started out here, my avatar was my Google minesweeper record for the time because I had one reason or another for not selecting one of the few other pictures in my camera roll. Also I was really into Google minesweeper at the time for some reason. I don't think anyone noticed (It was kinda grainy anyhow), but I actually updated it several times as I got better and better scores.
Now though, at least for the main site, it's the Celeste completion screen from my first playthrough. I'm weirdly proud of how well I did, probably because I hadn't seen a walkthrough in a few years by that point, and getting all those berries with no guide is an achievement, if only a minor one. Only other good one I could find in my camera roll anyways.
As for the forums, I used the final result screen. I say the final one because I never got back into the game after that...
Fully a skill issue honestly, I simply never got around to grinding until I got the hang of the B-sides.
