I've tried several online slave name generators and pet name generators and they were all giving me garbage. A lot of what they gave me had zero sexuality at all such as they gave me slave names like "worm" or "mud". A lot of them gave me ordinary full names like "Remy Smith" or "Soren Bane". A lot of them gave me cutesy names like "bunny" or "honey". In particular, I'm looking for names for male slaves but feel free to also talk about options for female slaves. So far, the best options I've come up with are mob style names such as "lucky" or "lefty".
Have you tried 'fantasy name generator'? They have quite a number of choices... It had names for slaves like Defiled, Lewd, Pervert... then there were names for cats, dogs and other animals...
Oh I'm very familiar with Fantasy Name Generator. Usually they are a great source but this time, not so much. Would you say, "Hey, defiled, come suck my cock defiled." No, so far I'm sticking to mob names that seem like better slave names.
I've given up on using name generators for most parts. If I'm for example, roleplaying something that is fantasy, I look for medieval names from Europe or if I need cyberpunk nicknames I look at race horse names from latest races. The horse names in particular are just the right kind of corny puns that fit cyberpunk but aren't too cool to be realistic nicknames.
I find that name generators can be useful sometimes but sometimes, they miss the point of what one is looking for. Like if one looks for ordinary American names, often the name generator will list several American immigrant names because they're American too but if I wanted immigrant names, I'd search for an immigrant name generator.
If I want a name from a culture I'm unfamiliar with, I generally just google something like "common Arab boy's names/common Japanese girl's names" and then look on a list for one I like the sound of. For the example of slaves, I would probably use pet names. Maybe for dogs, cats or horses depending on the relationship to the slave and whether you want ponyboys or not.
I like to go with names that have something to do with the character's personality. If they're "gentle" look up names that mean that like "Naomi" or "Melvin" via baby name sites. But if its someone who's a slave or beneath, I'm looking for inhuman things like "lamb", "doe", "dove", or synonyms like "benign", "meek", "shy". Sometimes an antonym if they're cruel owner or misbehaving sub.
Depends on what you want to achieve with the name and when the name is supposed to be used. If you want something with a degrading connotation, you might for example come up with a physical feature of the character and make fun of it like "LongBalls". Or degrading names that point out what value is assigned to them, like "CockSleeve" or "CumDump". Or sth like "FootWarmer" For more general (and probably non-sexual) names, you might consider a back-and-forth conversation with your favorite AI to get possible options and choose a fitting one.
When I think of slave names, this is what I think: First, the whole point of the name is to separate the person from their free identity and remind them that they are a slave. This means that slave names cannot be ordinary names like free people would have. Second, although I understand wanting the slave name to be derogatory, it needs to also be fun which means super derogatory names like "worm", "turd", or "slime" aren't fun enough. No master would name their slave "turd" but a master might name their slave "shorty". Third, I can see how some pet names could work as long as they weren't obviously pet names like "Rex", "Fido", "Spot", or "Fifi". So I'm still going with mob names. Not all mob names work as slave names but take a look at these mob names as potential slave names: "Lucky", "Lefty", "Trigger", "Shorty", "Baldy", "Scar", "Snap", "Headlock", "Cheeks", And names that are not mob names but are inspired by mob names: "Screwball", "Knucklehead", "Blueballs", "Skinny", "Rockhead", "Clap", "Gutter", "Jab Happy", "Boner", "Nuttin", "Pink", "Rosebud",
Depends on the setting, depends on the type of slavery. It could be that slaves have normal names in fantasy setting where slavery is commonplace. SCIFI setting could have slaves be named with numbers and other identifiers meant to dehumanize (or de-alienaze, depending on the species) them. For a cruel slaver who enjoys sexually dominating their slaves, degrading slave names work. Same with BDSM type slavery, but that would have consent involved in it. Sweet pet names could also work for a slaver who has sex slaves, if they try to show off how much they like their favoured slaves.
I would like to point you in the direction of a browser game called Freecities. The main game has been abandoned, but it is kept alive by the Pregmod. (3 guesses how I found out about it) Long story short, you run a slave-economy city, and as you progress through the game, you can adopt ideologies for how the city develops, how it's people view the slave population, and how your house slaves earn their nick(slave)names.
I never intended to suggest that my way was the right way so of course, each of you is free to do whatever you want with your slave names. Sometimes I do dabble in fantasy or sci fi but the main focus even then is erotica. So fine, a name like "Turd" might work in some stories but it's not very erotic to me. Similarly naming someone "53764" is also not very erotic to me. Regarding the vanilla cutesy/bdsm degrading spectrum, I'm going for something in the middle. Too vanilla cutesy of a name does not seem like the kind of name one would give to a SLAVE but too bdsm degrading of a name does not seem like an EROTIC slave name to me. So those of you who write EROTIC slave stories, what kind of slave names do you use?
I put it before but I'll say it again, I use names associated with attribute of them. Usually it is something to dehumanized them but could still be called out erotically. "doe", "pit", "murky", "banister", "badger", "sham" Also used acronyms that they know but are not obvious in public: Dop - dumb, obnoxious bitch Fup - flaccid, useless prick You could use a body apart too. You could also call them "Paul"..... Depends on what you're after.
Naming’s tricky, especially for something so specific. For male slaves, maybe lean into something that feels possessive or symbolic like “Ash” or “Blade.” For females, something elegant but submissive, like “Luna” or “Ember.” Mob-style names work too, but maybe mix in some edge. Just avoid the cutesy or random stuff unless it fits the vibe.
