Warwick jumps as he notices Siti, breathing heavy though he no longer biologically needs to. "Jesus..." He says. "Huh. Jesus. God. Allah. Mohammed. Amidha Buddha. Krishna. I guess that stuff doesn't work on us in real life." The old man experiments, as he turns on the engine to drive across campus towards the old engineering building, going around the back where the furnace is. "We have a problem. Lara came here with another student. Stacey - you know her from class, I think." He says. "She left with her mother. I don't know how much Stacey was told. But if I track her down and kill her, it's going to raise even more suspicion. One missing student from my class is a coincidence. Two is a pattern that the police will notice." He says nervously, not thinking about how casually he suggested murder, and only dismissed the idea for practical reasons rather than moral.
Siti looked amused by the line of holy names. "Those usually don't do anything... unless those words come from mouth of true believer. Then, they will hurt you... their presence alone will be either unpleasant or hurtful." the vampires explained as the car drove around the campus. The car stopped in the back of old building - the entrance for the furnace that also doubles for the heat system for the campus. Siti hummed. "Well, you really fucked with that one action~" She chuckled. "Yes, another murder would be noticed, my Childe." She smiled as the woman already had some answers. "I am curious then, what do you plan to do about it?" She asked curiously.
It seems I have much to learn. No, I was never one for the club. I only went out on my final night because my BFF was insistent. That’s how I got in trouble. I left early and got lost. I fear I will need my side's guidance even in this trivial matter.
Hector hummed. The car speed up, as it took over one of the cars, before joining the line with the other. A light hum of disapproval escaped her companion as he started breaking - it looked like they were in a jam. "It looks like we will stand in this for some time." He said with dissatisfaction. "Do you have any questions or want to ask, or even talk about anything as we wait?" He asked as his tone changing into the one with compassion.
So how do we hunt? I take it there is more too it than being out in the woods tracking a dumb animalwaiting to take it down with your rifle?
Hector hummed. "There are a couple of ways, that depend on your surroundings and situation. What you want is blood, and if you are desperate, you can even drink it from rats... as unpleasant as it is. Homeless and drunks are also a solution but a weak quality of blood will be like a watered-down drink. YOu will need just that much more of it to feel satisfied." Hector explained. "The act of drinking from someone is called a kiss. It's incredibly pleasurable for mortals, making them have an orgasm, just from having their skin pierced. It also makes them lose a short time memory. That makes it easier to hunt. Because it makes it addictive, like a great sex." The cars started moving. "The best solution would be to find yourself a blood doll - a mortal who is willing to become a 'constant' blood donor." The older man hummed. "Ah, it looks like there was an accident." He pointed at fire truck on signal, lights flashing blue not far in front of them.
Chloe stared out the window. The accident was terrible. Someone had lost a lot of… the sweet smell mixed with burnt electrical equipment, leather, and asphalt. Chloe licked her lips. She didn’t realize that her hand was on the door handle, ready to run towards the accident and that fountain of vitality. “Do we ever lose control? She asked, turning back to Hector. Do we ever crave it so much that we can not control ourselves?”
Click! The lock clicked as the door were locked secure, making it impossible to open the door... Chloe wondered if it would stop her if she put her mind to it. "That's.. an interesting question." Hector hummed. "Yes. We can lose control - then, the Beast takes over. Especially when we are hungry or taste very good blood. We can lose ourselves and drink until mortal is dead, then attack everyone around us. If we will become controlled by the Beast... then we are nothing more then animals to be put down." The car started moving past the crashed cars - the ambulance was already gone as there were no wounded people around. "The Beast, it's always there, waiting to gain control, to take over. And you will never feed it enough for it to be sated." Hector grimaced and accelerated as they left the car crash behind.
Chloe turned back from the crash scene. She pushed the rising “beast” down. While the smell was enticing her thirst, it was not that great. She began to fidget with the dress she had been provided. A dark wine-red mini skirt that she was constantly pushing down the hemline of as it threatened to reveal the black thong that lay underneath. The scooped neckline was plunging, giving off ample cleavage. Chloe was confident that she would have no problem attracting a particular brand of “prey.” “How much longer?”
Hector smiled as he pointed at the library. "We are here, just need to find a parking space..." Which, in front of the library, at this hour, was not difficult. He parked and got of the car. "You know... I might be old, but I am pretty sure you don't wear those clothes to the library~" He said with a smile as he offered his arm.
“I guess I’ll just have to check out the entire 50 shades series,” Chloe says. “And you said we. Were going to the club that we had to avoid fascination.” She stares at Hector not amused at his trolling.
"Oh, so any Jesus freak could harm me? Well that's just delightful." I wonder what my church congregation would think if they could hear this conversation? To know that 'pious' old Warwick is a demonic monster? The old man sighs as he gets out of the car, Siti following along with him as he moves to the sturdy rear doors, picking the key the maintenance staff gave him off of the chain from his pocket and sliding it inside the lock, the decrepit mechanism squeaking softly as it unlocks. "No one should be in this building so late. In the event that someone is here, act as though we came here for a romp." He says. Warwick heads inside, looking and listening with his newly enhanced senses for any hint of a person. If no one is there, he heads back to the car, opening the trunk. He's wrapped the body up tightly in towels, hoisting it up and again marvelling at his strength as he carries it towards the furnace. At her question, Warwick sighs again. "I...I don't know." He admits. "I'd really rather not kill them." Images of blonde hair tussled against pillows, mother and daughter lying together, gazing up at him with desire, flow through his mind. "And not just to reduce my chances of being caught." He admits. "But I don't know. I don't know what I can do. How far I can go. I was able to...persuade McKay earlier and make sure he did what I wanted. But lying to the police? Covering up a murder? Am I capable of making them do that?"
The man smiled and shook his head. "I only noted, that we will not go to museum~" He corrected her with good humour. He then turned his car, as he found a parking space and made to park the car.
Siti hummed, as she started looking around curiously. "A rather -one use location, hmm~" She hummed as she wandered around the small room. "Well there are a couple of solutions to your problem... let's start with that~" She pointed at the dead body of Lara. "That soon there will be no proof of murder. If, let's say her Stacey also disappeared and there was a letter found the two - Stacey and Lara - were lesbians and escaped - it would be reason enough for Karenr to commit suicide - as a devote Christian... or Natzi." She shrugged. "Another solution would be blackmail or bribe... or seduction." She hummed. "You could also frame the two for the crime." "Of course, there are other ways to make the two... a more permanent addition to your... following. But that's a little early, I think." She hummed. The vampire female seemed to have quite a lot of fun, and entertainment from the old man's troubles... or was it a test?
Chloe grabbed her jacket and pulled it over. She had only grabbed it out of force of habit as she was not yet used to not being affected by the temperature of a room. She pulled it on and hoped for the best as she got out to follow Hector.
"And here we are~" Hector spoke cheerfully as he walked out of the car in the direction of the building. "A public library." He hummed as the two started walking in the direction of old building. "I must say, I am surprised that anyone is here today at this hour." He hummed as he looked at a few cars parked on the parking lot.
Warwick nods, approaching the furnace and opening the door. He yelps, to his surprise, as the flames leap out at him, backing away several steps, an animal fear keeping him away from the fire. Trembling, slightly, he slips on the thick gloves hanging nearby, before sliding out the metal plate from within, lifting Lara's towel-clad body on top, and sending it back in with a shove. He closes the furnace door soon after, glad to have cold steel between him and the flames. "I..." He breathes, out of instinct instead of biological function. "I don't know. I really don't want to hurt the two of them. Lara's death was bad enough. I'd rather a solution which ends with them in my bed, to be honest."
“Did you change your mind and come here on purpose after you saw how I was dressed, or did you think the night watch or janitor was a good starter lesson to teach me how to hunt?”
Siti smiled. "The last memory of your toy, Lara, is your boot on her naked ass as you shoved her into the furnace~" The woman chuckled. "As for the other two blond sluts~" She hummed. "Shall we make this your test?" She suggested. "Get a hold of the duo, and if you give proof that you have the two bitches on your leash, I will give you a sure way to control them with powers. Deal?" She offered her hand as she presented the deal.
Hector glanced at her as the two made their way inside. "None of the above. I was planning to come here from the start... you simply were just to much into your own fantasies to realise what I said." The man explained as the two entered the library. The inside was mostly empty, and the smell of books filled the air.
