Thank you for this! I did worry that the randomness could hurt the pace and the flow of the story. Hopefully I can get that balance better next time - and be more adventurous with different scenarios!
I used a lot of rolls for my last story as well. I think it can work but leaving the entire plot up to the roll of the dice definitely causes some issues.
